I don't have a problem with the name tags, it already comes with preloaded tags, you can customize them though. Can you explain exactly what is the problem? Can't you play the name tags of your contacts, or the commands? or both? or is it a voice recognition problem? Maybe I can help.

ABOUT OUR E65 SOFTWARE
Nokia releases firmware updates with slight variations for each product code of a given model, such as the E65. The product code is specific to a geographic region, country, or language. The updates are not released simultaneously, and some codes may not get their updates until weeks after others did.
Changing your phone's original product code it is a procedure that is not authorized by Nokia but it is commonly done by people in general whoare willing to take a small risk.
As for the Psiloc Font Magnifier program, that most E65 users have aquired in order to solve the XXXSMAL fonts, it seems not to work the same with all Product codes software (I even tried versions 1.22 , 1.30 and 1.36 which is the latest so far 1-february-208).
For instance, on # 0515331 worked just fine, before and after the NSU (nokia software update), but on #0543459 didn't work in many screens, regardless of the augmentation % that I applied to the fonts, and finally on #0515275 worked pretty ok, a bit too big on message editing screen but I can live with that.
So, for those who got the Font Magnifier program and didn't quite work as u expected, you might want to consider changing product codes. Also Font Magnifier is not easy to adjust for good font viewing, it does not increase or decrease all fonts as you increase/decrease the font augmentation %,(ad logic would state) so you have to play a lot and reset like 100 times until you find out which settings work for you.
So far I've come to the following conclusion for phones with Nokia sofware version 2.063.65.01: (remeber results vary from phone to phone this is applies in general)
with Font Magnifier v. 1.30 best results are obtain at 130% magnification
with Font Magnifier v. 1.36 best results are obtain at 131% augmentation
version 1.22 is very old and I don't recomend you to intall it at all.
Hope I have helped someone out there with my little contribution.
We all help each other by posting our findings.

Select secure mode: "Open network, WEP, WPA/WPA2"
"WEP key for WLAN" (if WEP chosen), or "Pre-shared key for WLAN", in case of WPA/WPA2
Domain address handling improved:
Domain part of VoIP address is not stored / visible in call logs if terminal parameter for this functionality is active. Removing of domain address part in MT case will be done only, if user part contains only numbers (i.e. E.164) or if URI parameter user=phone exists. Provisioning parameter has been added to define the logic.
Call back (i.e. recall) from call logs is possible to either VoIP or CS number based address. For MO VoIP calls terminal will add automatically domain address, which is a default domain address for that specific VoIP profile.

>>Alcohol doesn't solve any problems, but then again, neither does milk.
It does have vide call only 1 way video, it means you can see the other person's video (if available) but you won't be sending any video. And just as the other user said, 3g does not necessary mean vido call enabled.
>>I get enough exercise pushing my luck.
Hi! Is this only a cell phone or is it posible classifie it as a PDA?
@PSwY (the guy who posted before)
you're a bit confused, aren't you?
being 3G doesn't mean it has to have video call.
and this one doesn't have it.
the worst phone i have ever purchased... slow, crashes, inability to do simple scheduling tasks, buttons are fiddly, materials wearing very quickly ....
how could you make a video call, i mean you will used the back cam as well? so how could you see the other party, it is stated there that this is a 3G phone.
You people don't read!!??
The front lense it's not a camara, it's a light sensor!!! we'd said this 1000 times, please research the data base before posting questions.
I've had the phone for over 6 months and:
-no self resetting
Great phone, can get somewhat slow sometimes for response-time, but hey, u can't have it all!!
Best phone I've had.
I've seen two people with the E65 and they both have the same problem when video calling, the front camera does not work the other person cannot see them, someone please tell me how does the video call work with this phone?
Hey does anyone have any problems with the voice commands?
I press the voice command button but it says no voice tags saved...
How do I save voice tags?
its a question or seeking advice
i am looking for a new mobile, and i found in this mobile all my needs except that this mobile doesnt include a radio (its imp. for me) can u help me plz by giving me other options?
I've had my E65 since end of August. It is the most amazing phone I have ever used. No problems with fit/finish; great third party apps (especially from Epocware); great sound; lots of flexibility for my business needs. I just upgraded firmware last Thursday and that was also painless! Great work, Nokia!!!
I have bought E65 and it is working/responding without any error so far. I decided to buy this phone even after reading all negative comments and I think it was a right decision. Buy and try...
To change phone language of your e65
All you need is to change the product code, and then run the nokia software update. For example, I changed my product code RM-208 0515331 (malaysia, english and chinese languages) for the code 0515276 (Euro 1, english, spanish, dutch, french and protuguese languages). It really works, you'll need a program called NSS Nemesis in order to change the product code, after that, you just run the nokia software update and voila.
Got the E65 3 weeks ago. First one kept switching itself off, second one kept crashing, third one (received this morning) froze on the opening Nokia screen, nothing happened from there no matter what button I pressed. Called vodafone, ordered a Samsung F700. The E65 may be a great phone, getting the damn thing to work is a different matter!
Changing language package in your E65 using the corresponding "Product Code", a program named "NSS Nemesis", the nokia USB cable and the Nokia updater software from Nokia.
I changed mine that was originally RM-208 Code 0515331 (english, malaysia and chinese) and I changed it to 0543459 wich corresponds to Euro1 and includes english, spanish, french, portuguess and dutch.
How sweet is this?!?!!!!
I'm so happy
After the change of packages I even downloaded the Voice Aid for Text reading is Spanish from the nockia site...
I love my new customized E65!!
Google "NSS Nemesis + E65 + Product code" and you'll find more info on how to do it.
However, be advised that changing your original product code will most likely cancel any nokia guarranty, so keep that in mind if you decide to go haead.
>>Love your enemies, they hate that.
My sister has this phone and she says the keys are very hard to press if you have stubby fingers, the camera is very bad quality. overall its okay.
nothing beats the e65 for connectivity....not even the much acclaimed N95......the os (S60) is indeed a bit slow although it seems to handle mp4's and mp3's well enough....the camera really sucks a definite draw back here! Basically, its a good phone but not a great one....part of an evolutionary process maybe....i'm ok with it since i have it but hopefully there is better to come!
