Tsepz, agree with everything except for the mid-range part... When you look at the specs (and the price), it's more like high-end to me! I love the predictive contact dialing (or smsing, emailing etc) directly from home screen
This is going to be quite a Business device. It even has some features from the Nseries devices like the accelerometer and the video recording. :-) nice one NOKIA, its an almost perfect Mid-range business device.

Anonymous, 30 Jun 2008i bought this phone last month, battery problem, screen keeps playing up, not vibrating, not r... morePlease don't full yourself. A phone that is released this June, 2008 and you you bought it LAST MONTH; is this not ridiculous on your part?
Give kudus to Nokia because of their innovation.
i bought this phone last month, battery problem, screen keeps playing up, not vibrating, not ringing, phone turns itself off everytime i talk for 2, 3 minutes, malfunctioning buttons
i got a replacement last week, still, the screen keeps flicking abnormally, a piece of useless junk, nokia's quality has been dropping so bad these years, hasnt been a good phone since 6288, very disappointed
Played with this phone for a while at Cisco Live '08... seemed like a great solid phone, and appears to work very well with Cisco CallManager (in WiFi mode, it will act as a Cisco VoIP phone). User interface was smooth.. pretty much the same as any other Symbian OS. I was hoping WiFi Internet was going to be a bit snappier, but can't beg for too much I guess. Web browser also seemed to be pretty good (IPhone like, w/o the touch screen).
Here a huge image gallery of the E66:
rakeb, 26 Jun 2008phones microsoft windows is good but symbian os more than microsoft windows desirable why ..un... moreWindows mobile needs a much faster processor for it to function properly. Any other processor below 500mhz would make the OS run slowly and hang frequently.
Symbian performs properly when using the freescale 369mhz processor or the ti omap 330mhz processor.
Another advantage that symbian has over Windows is that it is less power hungry. A symbian phone can use a 1500mah battery for btw 5-7 days while a windows phone will go for around 1-3 days of moderate use.
So symbian is a better choice.
