Col, 01 Jun 2009My "notification light" (scroll light) keeps flashing even when there are no notifications, an... moreIt's supposed to. The only time the not. light stops is when you switch off the phone. The light blinks faster when you have a notification.

And you should also follow these instructions in order to get most out of your battery:

1. Charge your phone only when it has no charge at all or somewhere near that.
2. Charge it completely (till the battery is full). Do not take it off charging halfway through.
3. Empty the battery completely twice a week and charge the phone while it is off.

I get atleast 1 and a half days or 2 days by following these instructions and the others that i posted earlier.

I make about 3-5 calls ranging from 5-10 minutes.
Use WiFi for about half an hour with the charger plugged in.
I rarely use bluetooth.
Send around 20-15 SMSes.

ALSO! Check whether you have any resource eating app running in the background (press the home key for 3 seconds. Any unclosed app can also eat away your battery life.

My "notification light" (scroll light) keeps flashing even when there are no notifications, anyone know Why?

This may be contributiong to my low battery life, I have tried all the battery saving options, but no noticeable saving, maximum 24hrs at a push with little usage.

Nokia Playa, 09 May 2009How do i reinstall my Music player? It couldn't open any more.must be some error with the Gener... moredude u must restart your phone after u have connected it to your PC via USB. it is happening to me, the memory and music player is unaccessible after you connected it to PC and copied songs. the stored files seems corrupted but after restarting phone, it is automatically "reparing corrupted library". and there, you can alreadt access music player and memory card. but all your playlist will be deleted so you have to create again. that's a downside for this phone.

Tips to increase battery life:

Decrease backlight brightness.
Decrease ringtone volume.
Try to use WiFi only when the charger is plugged in.
Turn off Bluetooth when not needed.
Use darker themes rather ones with too much white.
Disable the screen saver.

Brand new battery, out in only 2 days with almost no use (like 3 text msg), or almost 1 with moderate use (that, and I know how to handle Li-ion batteries).
Always thought Nokia phones had good battery D:
Gosh that's even worse than the Samsung I've used for 4 years which just broke last week... I feel like cheated.
That's the only (while HUGE) down side though. I like the look, classic keyboard, sound, graphics & apps.

By "getting a software for picture editing" I meant you can get a 3rd party application for your phone.
