i want to buy this but prise is more. can i buy same type of mobile in mini. price
[deleted post]Yes we all know how the Iphone doesnt lag, as long as you always buy the latest one every year, since everytime they update the software, it creates more bugs than it fixes. there are plenty of videos showing the "lag free" Iphone just requiring you to keep tapping the icon about 20 times before it reacts. No lag there, just no reaction LOL. I am glad you like your toy, but I gave mine up since every update caused it to perform worse and worse, and its absolutely uselss for working on the go, unlike my much older generation Nokia and HTC phones. But if you don't like hearing all this, then stay in the Apple forums instead of spouting garbage without facts in here.
By the way, it would help if you had a better command of the English language as well. It does look sad to see that Iphone users are so uneducated and dont know the difference between waist and waste LOL
Anonymous, 14 May 2011Remember all HTC Hanset has a poor battery life. The Desire Z's battery life doesn't seem too much shorter than my old N97. Still, I would love it to have a battery life as long as an iPad. I can get over 4 hours of continuous use out of my Desire Z. Would love to have 10.
Stuntman, 13 May 2011Any reason why you are not considering the Desire Z?Remember all HTC Hanset has a poor battery life.
Mak, 13 May 2011May I connect the phone to my PC without its PC suit?Yes you can connect but you cannot maximize the full functionality
This is the best peice of hardware I've ever owned. Best Best touch, USB on the go, nokia sleeping screen, Improved Sym^3 OS, 2.5 days of battery back after heavy usage. Big screen, Best keyboard phone in the market. The list of features of E7 is really long.
I owned a iphone 3gs. I agree that Sym^3 doesn't ring many bells but the it is anyday better than my iphone. I used to get rarely half a day of battery back from my iphone. Nokia E7 has reolved many of my problems and it looks more stylish too.
I am not a Nokia fanboy and I also could have considered android OS if I was successful in finding the premium build quality as my Nokia E7 has.
Sadly Android phones are all cheap plastic and nothing else. I would wait for a SGS 3 OR a LG Optimus 3x.
Till then Nokia E7 is the best phone in the market.
Check out the Nokia France demo of E7 with Anna on youtube.

FlatEric, 13 May 2011I am at my wits end with this phone and I only got it yesterday. It keeps asking for a lock co... moreWhy would you get an i-phione replacement are you a fanboy on here causing trouble?
Why dont you take it back to shop?
If you aretelling truth it sounds like your device has been used before and had a lock put on by somebody else.
FlatEric, 13 May 2011I am at my wits end with this phone and I only got it yesterday. It keeps asking for a lock co... moreThere are people here with working E7 phones and it's not a symbian problem either.
Reset your phone by dialing *#7370# . Back-up your phone first because resetting will delete everything that you have on your phone. Also make sure that the battery is at least half charged.
If the problem remains then it's probably a hardware issue.
I find there is a slight lag in opening folders or appplications. I also have to learn the user interface, but other than that I think it's a great phone. The price is steep because it's a new phone, so unless you have a reasonable contract available or an upgrade I'd wait a few months as prices drop dramatically. It's like a small computer and exactly what I was looking as I needed a business phone. Like all tech, you need to learn how to use it before you can actually use it so have patience.
it doesn't have memory slot like the others bcoz you can use your thumbdrives thru its USB slot as your other storage.
I am at my wits end with this phone and I only got it yesterday. It keeps asking for a lock code and won't accept the unchanged original. After just one attempt last night it reboots itself to the white screen of death. It's the early N97 reincarnated. I cold boot it again with a long on/off key and it boot snormally. Sometimes all my contacts, exchange and everything get wiped and then it starts again saying thanks for choosing nokia. The first time I ever turned it on it would only let me set up exchange. No other gmal or yahoo mail options. That cleared itself by the 3rd time. I think I'm unlucky with this one. I will prsevere over the weekend but if this doesn't sort itself out after taking software it's going back for a replacement. The replacement will have 2 days to behave itself or I'll admit defeat and take an iPhone (after years of resisting). Vodafone guy said Nokia symbian software is not the best, as we all know, and even nockia are dumping it for the microsoft set up. That's cost them $1bln, he said. He recommended the HTC Desire Z, but I'll try this one for another couple days then get an iPhone if the replacement is still poor. Anyway, I will post again and let u know if this sorts itself.
