ab, 17 Feb 2011mike my friend...i am feeling prety much the same way u do every day !!! lol !!! one day i mak... moreNokia should recently improve their mobile feature. sorry to say nokia ur camera still poor when sony eric has a strong camera and video recorder. sound still bad in headphone and loopset whenit’s dolby digital. Graphics and menu view also need improvement.
Pls gsmarena, am still waiting for an extensive review of this phone. Symbian has been ideal for me and I know my way around things.
Anonymous, 17 Feb 2011Symbian future is still there, if you didn't listen to what Nokia said at Mobile world congres... morewell m glad to hear that mate...think i need to be updated !!! :-P so symbi is safe aye...olri8...i guess i need to reconsidsr my favr8 option of "E7" over upcoming android biggies then !!!

Stuntman, 17 Feb 2011I here you about the battery life. I have the HTC Desire Z. I would prefer that the battery ... morei totally respect ur view bro...i was just sharing my xperience about androids i have used so far...and i do stand by ur point about latest symbian browser...they do suck big time !!! :-P but for that u always have third party options ri8 !!!
about battery lasting point i will stand by my opinion very strongly...symbian does win this
(one and only !!!)department hands down, neednt to say in all other aspects android is far ahead than symbi !!!...and i must admit androids battery life has improved a bit...coz after updating my SGS to froyo...it was bit durable than it was with on eclair...hope some day they will manage to come close to symbians perfomnce regarding battery life..."V"peace... :-)
thanx for sharing ur xperince...i've never used HTC product, think i shd give it try...
Anonymous, 17 Feb 2011Symbian future is still there, if you didn't listen to what Nokia said at Mobile world congres... moreThat is soo damn true, and i think its yet to get even better, wp7 being Incorporated does not mean the death of symbian, it id=s still being developed.. infact, the wp7 on nokia can be altered by nokia in the way they feel its right, hence adding some symbian to it... There is also this awesome app on ovi http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcqcW0L0i9o&feature=related
Woh wat a design but but guys hang on m not into nokia I dont think e 7 can beat my galaxy s wat a touch and clearity hats off to samsung m dying to have galaxy s 2 in my hand with better screen camera with flash hd video recording 4.3 screen andriod 2.3 ginger bread wat a phone it will be.......
ab, 17 Feb 2011mike my friend...i am feeling prety much the same way u do every day !!! lol !!! one day i mak... moreSymbian future is still there, if you didn't listen to what Nokia said at Mobile world congress, they said Symbian will consistently be updated, new devices will be announced in the future, Symbian will still be used by Nokia!
ab, 17 Feb 2011mike my friend...i am feeling prety much the same way u do every day !!! lol !!! one day i mak... moreI here you about the battery life. I have the HTC Desire Z. I would prefer that the battery last 50% longer than it currently does. Most of the time, it gets me through the day, but sometimes I need to charge it part way. So far, it is not too incovnenient to charge my phone and it doesn't happen often enough to bother me too much.
I used the N97 before. Personally, I think the battery on that phone at least does last a bit longer than the Desire Z. I do find I use the Desire Z more often because it is simply a better experience than the N97.
One of the reasons I chose the Desire Z over the E7 was the browser. The poor reviews of the S^3 browser drove me away. It doesn't matter how long the battery lasts. If it does not give me a good browsing experience, it's a deal breaker for me.
ab, 17 Feb 2011i know that inbuilt task manager bro,m not a newbee to this smartphone world :-)....thats why ... moreHai again
Symbian did not have taskmanager like android which can kill open appliance by touch the icon on home screen...for my N8 i'm using Best Taskman version 3.00 by smartphoneware..which compartible for symbian^3 compare to other same application...i quit good and use low memory. It will replace main taskmanager for symbian...this must have application for symbian phone to recover ram leak or lost..
pst: to recover more ram leak ,to prevent phone hang/lag..try to restart phone every 3 or 4 day.See the result.
ab, 17 Feb 2011i know that inbuilt task manager bro,m not a newbee to this smartphone world :-)....thats why ... moreHi there...Maybe you should try swiss manager pro apps. Its task manager& file manager combined. For me its a must have in every smartphone...cheers
the thing with nokia is that it kills the craze....i was very excited to buy it but with time my excitement is killed...it was supposed to bring it atleast 2 months ago to keep the things on line.
nd how far nokia will be bringing updates for symbian as now it wants to jump to windows mobile & meego.
its a shame for nokia that all it competitors are racing ahead of it who started lot after them.
Htc is going good...nokia shall learn there marketing strategy and equipment development from them

I am really confused about the E7, 1 day I want it, another day I dont. I thing is for... moremike my friend...i am feeling prety much the same way u do every day !!! lol !!! one day i make up my mind for e7...but then by giving a thought to symbians future..i step back !!!
and same as u after experincing few androids b4 honestly i dnt want one again...no mater how advanced and charming they might look...but whts the point if u cant even use them for bloody one day without being scared of them going down on a battery meter be4 even u reach at ur place !!!i realy hate that battery monitor guarding thing while using ur device !!!thats y i preefer symbian,i have tried so hard to drain out my N8s battery but no matter what i do it strictly gives me atlist minimum 1 and half day to 2days easily !!! and neednt to say i cant even dare to do the same to my android device !!! :-)
but then again when u see other options for high end latest symbian...ur search comes on to E7 only !!! :-D
and same as u i am favouring SE and obviously SGS-II...hence no other options r left infront of us in symbian :-(
lets hope nokia will announce something...or else the situation will surely bare us to the upcoming android monsters...and will have to sacrifise our "actual" working os :-( fingers crossed..cheers...
Stuntman, 17 Feb 2011Symbian has its own task manager. Just hold down the menu button to bring up the list of task... morei know that inbuilt task manager bro,m not a newbee to this smartphone world :-)....thats why i said clearly "like anandroid phones task manager" which elabr8s a bit like how much ram is been used and from where we can clear some unwanted memory use...that sort of task manager i am looking for(e.g.-auto task killers, task managers etc. from android maket)
thanks for replying though,appriciated :-)cheers...
Stuntman, 17 Feb 2011Symbian has its own task manager. Just hold down the menu button to bring up the list of task... moreAre you new to nokia? I know u mentioned that u own an n8.
Symbian task manager is built in symbian itself unlike android where most applications starts running automatically, symbian doesn't do that. only the applications u want to open will stay open.
