Anonymous, 18 Jan 2011what are talking about? Xenon is better than dual led! What nokia need to re-spec on this cell... morexenon is not better than dual led because xenon does not provide the torch function + video light. So for me having a led (preferably dual led) is a must feature. having both led+xenon would be of course even better.
jatin, 19 Jan 2011i heard arm11 processor was launched late 2002. device with it launched in 2011i also heard the ARM11 design is from 2002, but it didnt go into production that early. Arm11 was never a revolutionary design, and it was power hungry for its performance level. Remember N96, Nokia actually went back Arm9 because Arm11 drained the battery without much performance advantage. N96 had a smaller battery (only 950mAh) than N95 and yet the battery lasted much longer. N96 has been said to be slow and underpowered but N95-8GB wasnt much faster, i had them both and i hated N95-8GB for its battery life.
Stuntman, 19 Jan 2011The price of this device just blew me away. 600 euro = $800 CDN. I paid $500 CDN for the Des... morewell, the canada price will not be the Euro equivalent, it will probably cost less than 700 there.
The Desire Z sells for much more than $500 cad in europe. Closer to €500 i think. Mine was around NOK 4100 minus 10%, and NOK4100 is €520 or CAD 700.
Makka Cha, 19 Jan 2011People that are calling out this phone should really go else where. Nokia is not putting a loa... more"looks amazing, and the Specs look even better"
What specs are you talking about? The low screen resoulution? Or the antique processor? The small RAM? The missing cardslot? The old and bad keyboard mechanism? Or half the internal storage of much older Nokia units? (older units with 32GB which still had cardslot)
You have to be totally Nokia fanboi in your head if you see any good specs here. Those specs are really bad.
what is the probleem of nokia and symb, why don't they stop with the symb and go with the meegoo ......
People that are calling out this phone should really go else where. Nokia is not putting a loaded gun up to your head and telling you that you must buy this product. If you don't like this phone then don't buy it, it's as simple as that. And plus it is a E class business class phone so, if you're looking for a sophisticated looking iCandy that does half the thing the company claims to do, and are looking for millions of useless iCraps, you might want to divert your attention towards iPhone.
This phone looks amazing, and the Specs look even better, the only thing I would change is probably the OS to an MeeGo. This phone is far superior than any iPhone. It might be on par or even above most androids out there. And since it is Nokia I know for sure the quality will be far better than most other brands out there. Yes, I would rather buy an expensive phone that will last me for a long time than a cheap Chinese quality phone that needs to be replaced in a year or less.
GUILLERMO, 19 Jan 2011Would you pay 600 Eu. for this outdated phone??, no way!!!The price of this device just blew me away. 600 euro = $800 CDN. I paid $500 CDN for the Desire Z back in November. The E7 will probably not be available until spring. I was actually interested in the E7 when it was first announced. At a cost of 60% more than the Desire Z (and probably 6 months later), I just could not really see it being worth $300 more than a Desire Z to me.

Tenaiji, 18 Jan 2011How can you join 4 inch phone screen with a 1200mah battery? You'll have to charge this ... moreI think you dont know what you're saying...be more generous ...do you have any experience with symbian^3...if not better dont give any bad comment....
0v0, 19 Jan 2011Symbian does not consume more battery, so 1200= 1700
Dont worry1200=1700???do some home work atleast before posting iam using nokia e90 which has 1500mah & i hv to recharge my cell phone twice a day..and u r saying nokia consumes less power..
processor is not a problem with symbian phones but it must hv atleast 1800-2000mah of battery.
I don't find any interesting thing in this phone specification. good luck!!!
xix19, 19 Jan 2011ARM 11 680 MHz processor, 3D Graphics HW accelerator WHAT A WASTEi heard arm11 processor was launched late 2002. device with it launched in 2011
This phone has a nice design. But holy * * * *! It's over priced. No way this phone worth its price. Hardware is good, but even if it's for business, it's over price for its limited funcationality on Symbian^3.
daniel, 19 Jan 2011what is android peopleAn automaton that is created from biological materials and resembles a human is called Android.
omfg! Why doesn't it have a card slot? Are people from Nokia out of their freaking minds? This has got to be a first... Even the N900 which already has a 32gb built-in memory has a card slot... This is my dream phone, Nokia! Now, I'm not so sure...

maybe symbian OS is far beyond the google's counterpart... Maybe android is gonna be the M/S Windows for smartphones... Either symbian OS has to buckle up or else nokia has to adopt with android...
