this is funny ;) Nokia 5230 has 1320 mah battery - low end, while E7 has 1200 mah - high end... It is sometimes difficult to understand what nokia is actually up to ...
pezollner, 17 Jan 2011Well nokia, again nothing for me. I am still waiting for a Nokia with: 1, min. 5 MP camera ... morewhat are talking about? Xenon is better than dual led! What nokia need to re-spec on this cell is the CPU, 1 Gigz is the minimum, since nokia claim this cell is a B-phone.
Nokia, you are loosing! Give as something normal, or we must to live you, after 10 years of good relation. Becouse of as, you have to make some normal model. TNX
Tenaiji, 18 Jan 2011How can you join 4 inch phone screen with a 1200mah battery? You'll have to charge this ... moreIt has a smaller battery because it has a nHD resolution, which is a bit lower than VGA resolution. Plus it has amoled display that saves a bit of battery. It also have little RAM and slower CPU than most current high end phones. And symbian^3 os is light on power consumption.

You'll have to charge this thing twice a day if you are really engaged with it.
why doesnt nokia just give us an option to install any operating system. This phone has really good hardware on it, but falls short because of the software. using the phone when its new and using it after some time are totally different. You will notice the lag and unresponsiveness as time passes. I hate backing up my data and formatting the thing just to get some responsiveness back. I really wish i would have chosen another phone now.
Most of d specs I saw at d officiall nokia site isnt what am seeing here. The class of gprs/edge and some others; its confusing.
Waiting for the E7 badly... The original announcement was 4th quarter of 2010. Where is it?
Anonymous, 17 Jan 2011nokia is mad nokia never makes a perfect phone example is e7 y the hell they r giving 8 mp cam... moremy guess is.. nokia is trying to price is close to N8.. sacrificing 12MP (to 8MP) and SD slot for a larger 4" screen and QWERTY keyboard. I dont think there is a need for SD anyway, with 16GB internal storage. Internal storage are known to transfer data faster than conventional SD card. Plus, Nokia knows it's not good to cannibalize their own product(N8 and others) with another product that has 'everything' people dream about. Marketing tactics!! :)
