How can software update resolution?? its built into the screen so your stuck with it.
nokia phones are easy to navigate and they had a superb design..but i think they need to focus on making the software stable on the phone.
Anonymous, 03 Dec 2010Yeaa, the resolution issue is really a shame from Nokia . We hope the software update can incr... moreI think resolution is defined by the hardware. If the screen has only 360x640 pixels, software cannot create additional pixels on the device.
I'm thinking that a screen of this resolution makes it easier to show 720p video as it is an exact 2:1 ratio when viewing in landscape mode. I don't think having an exact ratio gains you that much as I have viewed video on the Desire Z at various zoom levels. These zoom levels are not a perfect ratio between the number of lines used on the screen and the number of lines on the video.
a mobile phone's first job is a good phone, other things are extra only, no body can beat symbian in phone activity and battery use. I have used all Iphone, 3 androids, windows phone are rubbish, now for talking only I use nokia e 72, for email only bb 9700, disposed galaxy s, kept one I phone $ for status only (fed up with battery and two hands use), now waiting for E 7, only negative thing is the battery,1200 only, why not 1500?

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2010Hey, we have been through our 640x360 fones 2 years ago, we know its not enough, thats why we ... moreYeaa, the resolution issue is really a shame from Nokia . We hope the software update can increase the resolutions if possible.
First of all, her is the symbian^3 posts.
Second, why to go for cheap quality phones. ( i am always looking for high quality things )
[deleted post]Hey, we have been through our 640x360 fones 2 years ago, we know its not enough, thats why we today have fones with 800x480 and up. You try to use a 800x480 fone for a few days and see if you would like to downgrade to 640x360 after that.
640x360 is a very big joke when the calendar shows almost 2011. This is a symbian limitation, not something nokia like to do, but they have no choice, just like hey have no choice but to use Arm11 processors because of incompatibility issues with symbian. Thats two severe limitations caused by the OS, it should tell us that Symbian has more than one leg in the grave.
The screen resolution on this thing is THE BIGGEST JOKE IN THE WORLD. A 4" screen with only 360X640 resolution?! I don't think so! The pixel density will be so low that my eyes will burn.
I am not a business man, but still I am interested in the features of this phone, so can I still buy it? The reason I am asking is because I am worried about camera and sound quality since it is a business phone.
TERA BAAP, 02 Dec 2010i have this phone for more than 1 year .. this phone is a crap dont even think to go for this ... morethe fone which people never heard of a year ago u have already used it, does ur daddy own nokia u stupid fuck
Why do so many people want Android on this phone??
Don't you get that if you put Android on it, that it will lag like no other with it's poor 680MHz processor. That processor might be good enough for Symbian^3 but for Android, no way!
