Jon, 29 Nov 2010I have had a Nokia E90 since it came out (3 years) i have been waiting for a replacement model... moreI believe E7 is the perfect replacement for the E90. It is designed to handle the everyday workload of a businessman/professional job category. Battery and OS is the critical points to focus on this new E7.Wish you strength in deciding a new phone for 2011.
It is supposed to be released on the 10th of December. It is strange to find that E7 is available for sale??? Howwzzzz that!!!
I have had a Nokia E90 since it came out (3 years) i have been waiting for a replacement model to be released however i have not seen such thing, the n900 was close but i decided to stick with the e90. Is this E7 a good replacement as a business fone, compared to the e90 or is it a waste of space????
Would appriciate constructive comments please!

Anyone of you owned this Nokia E7? I read from somewhere that the phone is preinstalled with JOIKUSPOT which makes a phone a MOBILE HOTSPOT and I love mobile hotspot. Please anyone, let me know and I hope the JOIKUSPORT is a trial version.

Stuntman, 28 Nov 2010The hinge on the Desire Z is fine. You can read my comments on the Desire Z comments page.OHHHH Really???

I'm passionately waiting for E7. document editor would be an advantage. does it have painting option like N8 as shown in the ad?

Anonymous, 27 Nov 2010Try and keep the Qwerty keyboard to stay in the same place on the desire Z, you will find you ... moreOk, the Desire Z is not perfect, but compared to E7 its pretty much perfect. I could hold a Nokia 6110 from 1998 up to your E7 and say "look, no UI lag".
You cant try and hold a low res symbian fone up against a modern creation with adequate resolution and decent processor, you will juz look stupid. "See, my keyboard stays in place when i do like this and that, and i really need to do like this and that", is that your argument? Is taht your plan, to shake your E7 in our face to show us it stays in place? Ohhh, impressive...
Lets talk screen resolution and operating system and UI lag, now are we impressed? Yes we are. And the nokia keyboard slammer mechanism IS a nightmare to use. N900, thats a good keyboard slider, best on the market, Nokia will realize it also soon and improve on that to make it allow for 4 rows.

I saw some reviews saying, the hinge is strong...
ani.anon, 27 Nov 2010Thanx for your reply..By the way have u used dis phn?
These are sum of da features in which ... moreAccording to your point and as i said, N8 has better camera, regarding the durability, it will be same as N8 ( Both N8 & E7 ) made of strong aluminum material.
Regarding the Card slot, i don't think it is a problem, since the absence of the card slot will make the E7 faster. ( we all know that, when there is a memory card, the device gets slow & freez some time ). this is why Nokia Removed the Card slot & put 16 GB.
In my opinion, 16 GB is soooooooooooooooooooo much.
I am having N900 since 9 months and only i am using 1 GB out of 8 GB memory card.
