Hey Guys! Don't make false comments about any products which may mislead to actual consu... morethank u in advance.still 2 more doubts to clarify:
1.does the os support cut/copy/paste across applications?
2.is the touch screen made of scratch/shock resistant gorilla glass?
Actually, I love it's design...
I imagine Samsung Galaxy S with E7 design, one word "Perfecto"
N-series is nokia top class phone correct? So this phone is below n8?
Azmi (speak's crew), 14 Nov 2010Nokia E7 i think it better .. but it worst .. oh , man .. if E7 got the function like N8 this ... moreI agree. This is like a double edge sword.
I think Symbian^3 is really killing Nokia right now as a touch screen experience. It's not up to par with even iOS ( despite symbian having a strong core). What I'm talking about is that Symbian has bad User Interface.
They really need to step up.
I think Nokia E7 should have Android OS... even with a stupid fixed focus camera... the Android OS would change the entire experience with the E7.
Nokia E7 i think it better .. but it worst .. oh , man .. if E7 got the function like N8 this phone must be good .. but , Nokia is always like this .. the good phone must have a little disadvantages ...
What about the FM transmitter??..
Nokia E7 doesn't even have FM transmitter!!,
while most of the Nokia mobiles do!!,
Its not even good for Music..
y did they made E7 lacking sooo manyy things??...:s :(
Im very frustrated..Nokia E7 no DIVX suport...why it can be like c7..support divx codex.. :(
Hey Guys! Don't make false comments about any products which may mislead to actual consumers. If you don't know then refrain from commenting, just read...
For Nokia E7's specification follow this link
This phone will be launched with these specifications only... nothing more... nothing less...
Now coming to doubts/question/:
1) Document Editor - E7 has document editor
2) Memory - Only 16 GB onboard memory and no card slot
3) Fixed Focus camera - Yes it is fixed focus. This is
E-series targeted towards business class people
who usually don't necessarily use phones as
camera. And for photography there is seperate
products (digital cameras). In this case you know
it in advance that it is fixed focus lens so if
you don't like it no one is pressurizing you to
4) Weight - 176g (It is made of Anodised aluminium
casing and it has physical keyboard as
well so its justifies its weight)
5) OS - It has the latest Symbian^3 OS. Every OS has
its pros and cons so does this one. Nokia wants to
stick with Symbian its their choice. Now you are
free to choose if you wanna go for Nokia products
or any other brand.
Now if you compare E7 with competitors it may be lagging behind few and leaving behind few. It completely depends upon the price at which it will be launched(prices vary according to region). Its a phone with good specs which could have been better but as always more specs come for additional price unless the manufacturer is very generous.
Note: to make it very clear... try to post comments in a constructive way whether you like the product or not so that it may help others who are trying to make their mind about it.
Maki, 11 Nov 2010Argh. If it's just Android, it would've been perfect for me. :|n8 is better than e7 i think Nokia have not more choice they are just playing like pino white and black keys :))...

I notice that people are raving about the apparent flaws with the E7. They are highlighting the camera and the lack of ability to expand memory using a storage card. I notice that these are the same flaws within WP7, yet the critics wave how great the software is. WP7 doesn't even provide the option of USB on the Go. So, is there a bias against Nokia? or There is just a bunch of hypocrites who cant stand to see Nokia succeed.
