ASTON, 04 Dec 2011I want to buy a phone advice me which one to buy N8 or E7 because am confuse herepersonally I guess E6 is the best nokia set right now but if u want to choose b/w e7 & n8 I advice u to go for e7 as it is a newer version with more stable software than n8 but u must also keep in mind that this is a business oriented set (communicator) & hence it would be a bit heavy
I just bought e7 phone, it has battery charge problem,on other hand tell me does it support operamin browser? Bse it says that the prgm requires flames what does this means
This phone may be good but the battery time is far from what they promise. If I charge the phone so that it's 100% in the morning it will be completely out of power within 10 hours and that is without using it at all!!
If I use the navigation that comes with the phone the battery will be out in less than 3 hours.
This could be a software flaw and I've updated my phone as soon as there was an update, but there still hasn't been any change to the battery time.
The phone as such is OK but it can't be recommended if you use it for business, which I do, because you would have to charge it once or twice a day. You can't have a spare battery because the battery is almost impossible to replace.
am staying in Nigeria and bought my Nokia E7 jst few days ago, my question is, must u be using Data flat rate plan frm ur service provider b4 u cn be allowed access to creat acct with ovi thereby having full access to all sites or a credit in ur service provider line is enough to do it ?

A phone i have always dreamt of. The E7 is a very good mobile phone, all thanks to Nokia for its sleek, handy device.I call the E7 a machine, you guys call it a phone..
I want to buy a phone advice me which one to buy N8 or E7 because am confuse here
If you can disarm Nokia's subscription, it is one of the best phones in practice. Book readers, Garmin, video replay for 6 hours, the best Qwerty, net-TV etc. + everuthinc works well. The only problem is slow text editing in Quickoffice. Hope it will be solved in Anna's upgrates.
Alfred, 02 Dec 2011Please, i am looking for answer regarding to E7. I've bought the at Nokia Dealler 5days ago...... morewell my friend .... u've got urself into troublesome !

it has some issues wid them . i advice u to go for nokia.com or try to restore factory settings or after all tht just send it in its warranty claim .
Probably the worst phone I've ever had. Only thing keeping me from becoming enraged by owning this phone is that I didn't pay for it, I got it as a gift.
It may end up serving me as a bluetooth-keyboard and remote later, if I can learn myself how to break it and install different software. Used as that, and MAYBE a mini-netboard or SSH-host to my server, it can be put to some good use, but for now it's only in use because it's more comfortable to write on a QWERTY-keyboard than it is to write on the touch-screen of my old SE U5i Vivaz-phone. Compared to eachother, even disregarding that the Vivaz is older, with an older operating system, the Vivaz wins on all accounts except typing as I said, and transfer of files over Bluetooth. The Vivaz puts them in my messages in the phone memory and only if I accept the transfer*, while the E7 autoaccepts* and puts the file under Received Files on the memory card.
*Don't know if I prefer having to accept all filetransfers, even from paired units, or if I prefer auto-acception. First option is safer, while the last is more convenient.
