Just press 5 before you click a pic. The focusing would be better than without it. And that would give you a better pic. Still pics only.

Guys !! pls help me out. Should i go for Nokia E71 or Blackberry curve 8520 ????To NITISH:
I myself have a liking for the Blackberry Curve 8520 but then I came back to reality and went with the Nokia E71. My motto is...you can't go wrong with a Nokia.
e71 you are really a big help here.. i appreciate your effort on helping our fellow e71 users... thank you

What's your camera's problem? If you're complaining about the image quality, it is what it is. You can't fix it no more... I hope you're using all the settings avaialable to you, maximize what the E71 has, use your autofocus :) Press the T button to focus before pressing down the DPad to take the actual pic.

I doubt it if sweat or any other form of bodily fluid (your saliva perhaps) can cause damage to your hardware, unless if you slobber or something.
However, a hard knock or a fall could've damaged your phone. Do you recall any instances recently? Or someone could've dropped your phone without knowing? Possible right?
What you have is a hardware issue that only Nokia Care can help you out with. Good luck
Christine , 06 Dec 2010Have a problem not seeing caller's ID (meaning caller'S names) just seeing the mobile numbers ... moreHI Christine,
You can try this...
Go to contacts > Options > Settings > Default contact list > Phone
I think your contact list is set using the Ovi phonebook, that's why you can't see the names of your contacts. Also, when trying to view your contacts its asking you to go online because Ovi contacts list is based on your Ovi account.
Let me know if this works. Good luck
Have a problem not seeing caller's ID (meaning caller'S names) just seeing the mobile numbers when receiving incoming calls and when trying to veiw my contacts this online message comes up with the words online asking if i want to go online i then have to exit and then use the numbers on the mobile phone to make a call were as with my other nokia phones i never encountered such problems. please help thank u in advance.

francis, 05 Dec 2010Guys im planning to buy this phone.. how is the performance of this phone and the battery life?Francis,
If you remember that this is a business phone and not a MM, then the phone is very good. Do not expect too much from the camera or the music and you will be very happy with it, to include its battery life, which is excellent.

Guys !! pls help me out. Should i go for Nokia E71 or Blackberry curve 8520 ????Some advantages of the Nokia E71 over the BB Curve 8520 (I own both phones by the way)
3.2 MP autofocus camera w LED flash vs 2MP fixed focus no flash
slim steel body vs plastic casing
3G with HSDPA vs nothing for the Curve
Free lifetime Nokia Messaging vs BB BIS on top of your monthly plan for BB
Free lifetime Navigation vs BB Maps that needs BIS (which is on top of your monthly plan)
VIdeo calling with the E71
If you can upgrade your BB OS to v6, I would have to say that that is the only plus over the Symbian60 UI that E71 uses, otherwise BB OS v4.6 or 5 has lots of text only submenus that are not logically arranged, so the platform is definitely a learning curve.
Unless you get a BB Bold 9700 with the BIS plan, you're better off with the E71. But if you can afford it, go BB. You can't go wrong there either
I m in a fix..
