hey all !!!
till now nokia trying to play with their users becoz till now no balanced mobile from them i think it's business...,
e71&72 fullfilled internet needs but it got failed in multimedia side and 5800xm too good for audio but it not well for messaging and emailing that's why am saying they playing with us they do not make balanced mobile ...,
that's business stupid business from nokiaaaaaa
my advice to all new mobile buyers please buy a mobile within 1500rs and buy a ipad and camera thats smart way for our needs if u want all in one meanse plz try sony or someother brands then nokia..,

I would agree with adnan that E71 rocks..I have tried X6 and e72. returned them both to seller. X6 is a complex touch screen phone with fragile thin plastic battery cover. While e72 is supossed to be faster than e71 but donno why it was slow and had bluetooth issues. I had mine more than a year usage experience, had no issues as long as you are using maximum 2gb sd card.

Hi,
E71 is the best in line E series phone so far . . with my experience with E 72 . . . other than 5 megapixel & sensor for the track ball nothing else is better than E 71.

No idea at all. But Windows mobile SW will not install on a Symbian device. Anyway, what is it that you want to install that is asking for the windows SW?

thank you for the info. does it mean that there is no way i can install the software that needs microsoft windows mobile pc 2003 edition or higher in my phone? or is there an alternative?

[deleted post]If you're a fan of typing with t9 and pretty much using your phone with single hand, no doubt e52 is your choice. Qwerty, in my opinion is still the best when come to texting especially when you face symbols and punctuations. On this matter, e71 beats e52

- E52 multitap keypad is very comfortable to use
- Symbian 3rd FP2 OS that look more eye catching than E71
- Email with nokia messaging seem good on it
- 3.5 mm audio jack, good for listening music with your favorite headset
- Build quality is not as good as E71
- E52 i tried had issue with lossing voice when making calls, also some firmware issue like continous warning that inbox is full, despite it's not

Please do not even try to install Windows stuff on your Symbian phone. What you are talking of is for Windows mobiles. Too bad that ours is Symbian.
I am still on this forum as the iPhone has been swiped by my wife. She like it so much. Anyway, I love my E71 still.

Business phones should have office apps out of the box, easiness of access contacts calender etc, fast-typing with qwerty, and also long battery life.

nice to have you back! i have a question, will microsoft windows mobile pc 2003 or a later version work on e71? a program that i wanted to put in my phone said that it would require "microsoft windows mobile pc 2003 or later" to install successfully.

All the phones that you mentioned in your list plus the N series are all smart phones because they can do so many things that just a few years back only computers could do. E series included in that list. (And very soon you will have phones with multi-tasking, thus making then smarter than present smart phones.) But those phones are not business phones as they all do not have document editing facilities and a qwerty keypad. Imagine that your day to day working depends on sending a large number of emails. You tell me what would be more convenient, typing on a normal keypad or a qwerty keypad. And not forgetting typing documents with a normal keypad. Your keys would go bad very soon as you have to press them a number of times for one character.
I hope I have given enough to prove an E71 a smart business phone.
Your name of E71 shows that you are smart enough to doubt your own smartness.
