Justin, 09 Jul 2010Umm.....Compared with E72....is this better??In term of build quality and firmware stability, yes E71 is better. E72 has better camera plus 3.5 mm audio jack

congrats once again. Now do not forget to make a backup every fortnight. But the first one now. Save all data including the system settings etc etc etc.

guess what? i've figured it out! it was just the setting, instead of using phone contacts my phone shifted to ovi contacts so naturally, i could'nt see my contacts but when i changed it, bingo! its all there, sweet and pretty! woohooo! thanks a lot vinay! (im feeling sad that you would leave this forum soon. hope its not forever.)

The best thing about the E71 is I almost never have "out of memory" notices and force me to close applications like in the E72, it's do what I like and genuinely multitask,...so brilliant devices....

it depends..whether you need a business device or a multimedia one...
For the first case go for E71..its simply best...
for the 2nd case u cud go for 5800..i don no much abt it though..

But for future do make it a habit of taking a backup of the data on a fortnightly basis. Whatever be the phone. In todays world, backup is must.

this is one of the best phones ive used. longer battery life and fit for your personal and business modes.
be an E71 user! now it has a version-4 firmware release to enhance and resolve all major problems in network providers.

I am happy that nokia still support E71. If you're worry about processor clock, you need to try it. Symbian 3rd FP1 seems very efficient though competitors clock higher on paper.

First of all you need to know scenario behind making E71. Mostly of businessman when get stressed they throw out their phones, that's why you find build quality of E71 is sturdy. Some office applications like quickoffice premier come out of box, mean you don't need to pay extra cash (IBM Lotus Traveller come in latest firmware). E series like E71 has 2 homescreen (switch mode) that you can put shortcuts on both homescreen. Also you find good battery life on E71 (business traveller don't need to charge often). Typing experience is also better. Besides qwerty, you also fasten your typing with predictive text on (non qwerty E series also come with this predictive, even FP2 you can set up primary and secondary language text input).
