You can make it look like a new one. The front casing costs around Rs 500 with the top glass. The keypad can be changed too if need be. BUT, get it done from Nokia Care.

Originally the front camera can be used only for video talk using 3G connection. But recently Skype has enabled us to use it for video talk on skyoe/fring using the DSL broadband connection too. You can also use it for normal stills and videos if you have installed QIK from www.ovi.com.

Its an excellent phone.For surfing,mails,maps and what not it does!! Just a touch sad that it comes with a 2.5mm audio jack(though its not projected as music ph; for listening to songs i dont need an ipod :D).The keypad layout is user friendly.Love ths phone.

Nokia E63 has better QWERTY keyboard than Nokia E71.

Between the two you mentioned, I feel that E71 is a better phone unless you are intending to use it for business purposes. In that case BB would be good as the company would be paying for BB services. If you want to pay (through your nose) for these services then it is fine, otherwise E71 is cheap to run and has all the facilities that BB provides (at those exorbitant rates).

[deleted post]E71 for aesthetical reason. Very nice and give me satisfaction every time I hold E71. Also for presence of GPS.
E63 for economical reason. If u don't care about look. In short, E71 smart inside and out. E63 function over look.
Blackberry is efficient for corporate usage. E71 is efficient for personal usage also it's okay for corporate.

If you sweat a lot, forget this phone. Twice at the gym I answered the call and the phone started mal functioning immediately. The sweat enters the internal keypad and rust's the contact points. Not as rough and tough as the e51 or 6300.Apart from that excellent phone.
