Could you please check in your installed Nokia Ovi Map ver 3.03 about the voice navigation in walk ?

Click OVI Maps in your E71
Goto Option---> then Settings---->Navigation
Here I am getting Drive guidance: English (US)-male/female etc BUT

          Vinay and others,

Are you getting OVI Voice Navigation in walk mode ? I am only getting voice navigation in drive mode. I have installed Ovi Map 3.03 in my E71. I checked in Nokia site..it is mentioned as folows:
Why is there no voice guidance for Walk navigation in Maps?
Why is there no voice guidance for Walk navigation in Maps?. Voice files are available in Maps 3.03 release and can be downloaded to your device via Nokia Map Loader. Earlier releases of the Maps application do not have voice files for Walk navigation."

But the problem I faced: Nokia Map Loader version is 3.0 and download only the earlier map data that does not have voice navigation.

amir, 16 Apr 2010sorry to bother u again boss...pls tell me all those spec what u wrote in reply like this... ... moreDear Amir, Email system I describe is same either on Symbian 3rd edition or symbian 5th edition (touch screen), but features like Quickoffice editor are exclusively available for E series (non e series should buy editor version).
There's no perfectly best phone outthere. The best phone is more personal preference, the way and purpose u will use the phone.
Iphone 3GS is arguably the best user interface touch one. It lacks multitasking (able on version 4.0 onward). Good if your multimedia consumer (music, video, internet). Bear in mind that all multimedia files should be sync by itunes (can't perform simple drag n drop).
HTC desire and SE X10 is good for multimedia consumer. Based on Tim Salmon, android phones are most reliable one for personal information management on gmail account (syncing flawlessly your inbox, contacts, calendar).
If you're multimedia creator (capturing images and videos) and also consumer then Nokia N series like N86, N97 mini or old N82 is wise choice.
Scenario choosing E series is like I describe on previous post.
Well, as you see, choosing a phone is a subjective factor.

                Dear Nokia and other manufacturers,
If you stop printing and supplying the User Guide along with the phones, it would save you a lot of bother and money and you would be able to reduce the basic cost of purchasing/producing the phones, which will benefit the customers as well. And since a lot of paper would be saved, it would benefit the Environment too and our world would be that much safer.
Why? Well no body reads the User Guide as is evident from these forums where users ask such basic questions as How to save a picture to the gallery? or How to change the theme? etc etc which have been adequately covered in the User Guide? Most of the questions being asked in these forums prove my point and make the forum boring. It should have been used for posing problems that the users are facing because of malfunctioning of the hardware or the software. Or if some new idea comes to someone's mind or if some one is facing problems with installation or configuration of a new program. Instead of spending sometime with the new phone and the User Guide, users prefer to go to the net and ask questions and make a fool of themselves.
May be I should visiting these forums. Good Bye.

(You can on email 24/7 or set up automatic time retrieval (every 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 2 hours etc) The email system notices u every time new email come. Beside built in email, u can also use Nokia Messaging or Emoze freeware. But i found built in email is most reliable one.
Multitasking is awesome on Nokia E71. I browse with opera mini, chatting with nimbuzz, open notes, dictionary, also skyping with dedicated Skype app. And also download some apps on Ovi Store.
Sure u can using Skype with Nokia E71 with your packet data or wifi. Install dedicated Skype, Nimbuzz or Fring. All is freeware.
I found Adv Call Manager is freeware for E series Nokia, not to other variants.
I suggest you try Nokia E71 before buy as everyone's need is different)

is that speces r available in e66 or e52 e72 or any other nokia touch screen phones?
pls tell me...should i go to iphone or htc desire or se x10 or in ur view which is best pls.....?

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2010i also want to know on how to back up my files?? many thankz :)You can back up your data with Ovi Suite. Also you back up to your memory card, go to tools, memory then select option, choose back up phone memory. Please do back with both ways if you can in case u have problem on one of the way.
I usually do hard reset after update firmware (in this case u require not restore phone setting) or if my phone behave strange.
Hard reset dont jeopardize ur phone.

I dont rather dont understand as gallery in file manager. You can easily mark the files and then move to gallery or other places.
If u mean u can't open ur files in gallery, firstly u make sure ur file is compatible and also not corrupted or infected by virus. If it still persist, u need to perform hard reset. Make sure that u back up ur files before resetting.
All problems usually can resolved by performing hard reset.
