My Nokia E71 works just fine...I've updated the firmware and install some applications like google map and nimbuzz and runs just fine,the design its terrific and elegant..the web browsing,its so fast.....so if your guys are planning to buy this phone,I will absolutely recommend this unit....its the coolest smart phone ever from Nokia.....

the phone turns off most of the time everytime i put it in my pocket.
i thought that it was because i need to update to the newest software but still it keeps on turning off!
i really wish i hadn't bought this phone!

sudeep, 30 Mar 2010No man, I have been using this e71 with all function last 6 mth. I am always keep online, GT,Y... morei have just taken one but i cannot configure gmail on it.
i manage to connet on WLAN and get my mails but fails with the telecom network.
can anyone give me some clue.

To put the predictive texting off go to Menu->Tools->Settings->General->Language and last item Predictive texting. And going through the User Guide would do you a lot of good as asking such basic questions is annoying. Since you are new to the phone, please read the User Guide.
