nimma aulakh, 01 Mar 2010i also have e71 but it is problem for me some time that it get switch off automaticly it may be due to water entered in the board. In fact my phone had a similar problem and Customer care showed water damaging the board and cicuits

Been using the E71 for a year now, its been a Brilliant phone, Very Reliable,Excellant Quality, & Full of Features, but Now i'am bored of it, so i've now Bought a Windows Mobile, a whole new experiance,,,, i've Sold my E71 now, But i'll miss it a lot.

Dont buy E63. It is a poor with functions. It was released later then E71 but it not even close to E71 by quality.

I bought new Nokia E71 from companies outlet before three months, my cell got different problems like it gets ganged when I pressed the receive call switch and restart by itself, I went to Nokia care and they upgraded my cell and now I am getting problem of restarting and hang, I am very disappointed after buying this phone, my advice to other is that please do not by this phone it is not worth against what we paid for that and it has several problems for which Nokia care do not have any answers

For Who has the freezin problem or jams in an application......ur problem wud be u got to many Apllications open....Just press the home button for 3 seconds and on the side of the screen a row will appear.....close any applications and you shud be left with the homescreen and the log open only....that way ur E71 wud work perfect....
Like someone said, Storing on memory Card is better than on the phone....leave the memory free so the processor wont get loaded too much

i have E71 since Oct2008 and have been extremely happy with it, but recently the phone can not hold its charge. I changed to a new battery but the problem is there. The phone would just run empty in a very short time even if left untouched. I updated the firmware to the latest version 400 sth but problems persist. I took it to an expert repair shop who could not find a single problem to it after 10 days.
Any help really appreciated
