Nokia E71 - user opinions and reviews

can anybody tell how much do I need to charge the battery(2-3 hours or 10 hours ),my nokia is a brand new and this will be my first charging.

I am using E71 I fill sound of ring (when you receive incoming call) is very low. in some file it show some error (not support or expirer certificate please please some one help he to improve my handset performance.

Grovy, 16 Dec 2009Hii guys... am planning to buy a phone with wifi enabled, GPS, camera 3 MP or more , ease of ... moreyou should go for the n79. its got a decent 5MP camera and has wifi and gps. the 6220 classic does not have wifi and the build quality is a bit cheap. if you can manage it get a N82 as the 5MP camera is the best and it has xenon flash. its also got wifi and gps. but the n82 is now out of production and only used ones are available. cheers.

niks, 17 Dec 2009from wr e71 is available @ 180$?I got mine used on eBay for $168 2 months ago. A couple of scratches don't bother me, the phone is like new. It's not easy, but possible if you're patient and look everyday.
It's the best 168 dollars I've ever spent.

It ... moreexactly - E71 has the perfect processor speed to give amazing battery life, while running high cpu apps beautifully. To run Skype on WM you need much higher CPU and it still lags and has similar to worse voice quality. The Skype beta running right now on the E71 sounds better than any I've ever heard and is quick and responsive with less CPU.
Symbian is just a far less bulky OS than WM with far less bugs and gets a lot more done with less CPU, RAM and battery drain. This phone is the bomb with the exception of the 2.5mm headphone jack - that annoys the hell out of me. I love how thin it is though. Best "blackberry" type phone out there IMO.

You can also check out the Nokia 6220 which is a candbar phone with 3.6mbps HSDPA and an impressive 5Mp camera with xenon flash. it retails a lot cheaper than the E71. Or you could check something like a Sony Ericsson C903.

And ... moreYou should not compare devices with different OS based only on RAMs and processor speeds. It is well known that, in order to work properly, WM requires much faster processors and larger RAMs than Symbian. Therefore, it is perfectly normal for Omnia B7320 to have a faster processor and larger RAM than E71, otherwise it would be a very very slow device. E71 has always been considered a fast phone (check page 3 of the Gsmarena review, for instance).

I just bought a Nokia E71 for $180, waiting until Friday to get it, ive had one before stolen and i absolutely love this phone, tons of apps, Nokia Conversation is a must have if you text a lot and just one of the best overall phones.

Buy Omnia PRO B7320. It has 535MHz processor and 256 RAM (E71 has 369MHz and 128 MB RAM). And Windows Mobile 6.5 is for better than this old symbian OS.
