The best way would be to transfer via bluetooth or USB with or without support of PC Suite. Because most of the times files are converted into mobile office format.

But I am very sure Nokia 5530 will support office document viewer as it shares the same platform with Nokia 5800 i.e. Symbian 9.4 S60v5.
I am sure you can get the office viewer on one of the sites like dotsis or noemangsm if it has not been included with the phone.

Actually i wanted to test whether ur posts r practical or not, and now i m sure u own e71, but i am not sure whether own those phones or not, but u r a very smart guy.

But some phones like Samsung i780 have both Qwerty and touch screen. Whatever you like you can make use of. Objective is same, that is to get your work done.

Samsung Star 5233 is a bold step by Samsung to make a leap into a iphone lovers group. It is meant to be a entertainment device.
Nokia E63 is a business messenger with a tint of multidedia due to presence of 3,5mm jack.
Hope this will help you a bit to make your decession.
If you are a qwerty key fan go for E63 but if you like wider screen and touch screen than 5530 or 5233 star.

If you need a messaging phone, buy E71. But if you need a good camera and if you are a music fan than you can go for N79

E52 hardware is much better than E71. But since it is a new product, the firmware is still buggy.
If you can wait for a few weeks a new firmware is expected to be available very soon.
E52 will be a great choice. But if you want a qwerty keys for messaging and a much better built quality than E71 is yours

Please make sure you bought your phone from reliable sources. The factory does mass production and some of the sets tend to have certain problems.
When the nokia distributors receive the handsets they are obviously tested and passed. But when the final user buys it and in few days if any problem occurs these sets go to service centre. Some fussy buyers dont want to wait or want a complete new handsets.
Than, these sets which are to be repaired in service centre are opened and fixed. These service centres are not as capable as factory clinics.
They cannot avoid the dust which ultimately make their way to handset screen. These sets are sold at cheaper price to shops and finally to end buyers who dont want to buy from showroom as price being higher.
Or even sometime showroom themselves sell these sets as dont want to loose on profits.
