Sdc, 08 Oct 2009Hy guys, I have a question a little bit dumb but i don`t know what phone is better between e7... moreE71 should be a wise choice(you're not into music minded) and e71 firmware is more mature than 5800 after more than a year release. It does mean that the phone is more stabil. Some people face firmware issue on 5800. E72 is very new and maybe it has some bugs. Better buy later if you want to have e72. Moreover e72 is more expensive than e71. Generally e71 is a wise choice.

I was very confused for witch mobile should I have, finally I got E71 for one month now, and I think I made the correct decision, I am so satisfied.
It is beautiful, slim, has all the features almost + qwerty.

I just upgraded to firmware 300.21.012. Unlike most people on this forum, I didn't do it for whizz-bang new features, I did it for BUG FIXES. Fundamental bugs like: date suddenly jumping forward at midnight on a weekend (if phone switched off when midnight strikes), the clock on the screensaver not updating (i.e. it shows the same time!!!), and phone rebooting when trying to send certain MMS messages. These are problems that are *obviously* firmware bugs. Then there are other problems that people say are firmware problems, but I can't be sure (e.g. calls very occasionally cutting out when answering -- perhaps it's something to do with reception).
The shocking thing is that the screensaver bug STILL isn't fixed. (I haven't had a chance to see whether the others have been fixed.) How on earth did Nokia miss such an obvious bug? Don't they have someone who keeps a list of bugs that must be fixed?

Hy guys,
I have a question a little bit dumb but i don`t know what phone is better between e71 and 5800.I`m not sure which is better to chose because i like the design of E71 but 5800is nice too..i need a phone with good battery,i don`t take pictures or listening music and to not make me problem, I mean "lag" or something like that..should take the e71 or wait for e72?will be better?the only thing i don`t like at e71 is that it have 1year from aparition and that means a little a "-" for me, in fact 5800 is newest than him but than means it`s better?i wait a reply. Thank you!

hi every, im just planning to buy E71 within a day or two. after reading teh comments of all of you im a little bit worried yet excited also about dis phone. can anyone plzz suggest me wheteher buying dis phone is a worth or not. money is not an issue but the main thing which im worried about is the hanging problem which many of u have commented on. as im a fashion student so i wanted to know that is this business phone really useful to me or not. or else i should buy some other phone. plz try to reply as soon as possible///// thnx

i just bought this phone and its totally awesome. i bought the black version and simply wow. it feel so much better than my n82. its solid and slim. keyboard is awesome. the best thing is that it came preinstalled with firmware v 3000 in it. now i do not need to use NSU to update it. no risk here.

Nokia E-71 is awesome phone and very great to handle. All you needed you can find here. I have one I bought it last week its friendly to use..

The answer is yes and no. be carefull if you buy, there is Chinese version without 3G and logical no second camera, also no wireless, all other models have.FYI the Chinese version is no copy, but original made by Nokia to sell in the chinese market.

Just like all Nokia's Executive class mobile phones this E71 has one of the best funcionality to price ratio. My former was 6600 which I had for 5 yrs. Hope this one lasts at least 4.

Even, more as 1 year after the release, still a facinating mobile. sure not worth to wait for E72. E71 is cheap now and the mobile is really great
