First download the software and then install it on your desktop. Then click on the icon created on the desktop it will point to upgrade software. I have done it and it works fine. Phone hanging issue is now resolved.

This phone has the functionality for SMS's to be read to you while driving for example. It however does not have the functionality for emails to be read aloud to you. Is there software available for this? The Nokia N75 has this functionality though!

Just updated my E71 to 300.21.012 using 0560657 as the product code as the v300 wasn't available for my original product code. Haven't noticed any major changes on the phone apart from the camera quality which is now a little bit better than it used to be. Must see whether the new firmware affect the battery life in anyway...people who're using v300 please share their experiences... :-)

Hi,
I saw someone carrying a Nokia phone very, or almost similar to the Nokia E71, but the colour is that of chrome/copper finish. I see that for the E71, it does not have this colour so I was wondering if anyone knows which Nokia model carries it? Thanks.

I bought this phone thrice and it had same pro... moreI had the same problem with 3 E-models: E51 (3 phones), E63 (1 phone) and E71(1 phone). The problem can be solved with software update. Since I made the software update, the problem never appeared on E51, but on E63 and E71 I made the soft update only 3 days ago.

I have had very bad experience with this phone. I bought this phone thrice and it had same problem, the menu did not open and then I had switch off the phone and then restarted it. Has anyone else also faced this problem.

firstly, forget the n97. unstable firmware. hangs alot. dats wat someone told me.
as for bb or e71, both have their own characteristics for usage.
though both r qwerty, i personally prefer nokia as its more user friendly than bb.
i've used them both n have sttled for the e71.
