What's the downside of buying a Nokie E71 China made? I'm surprised that it only costs P4,500 (Philippine Peso) against P18K (Php). I would appreciate any information. Thank you.

iam using e71 now its great mobile its my choice be4 i thought about n95 but i didnt like it with my friends hang alot and its fat silly mobo i want to ask a question about e71 how can i find the underscore and the other things on it am searching from 1 month but donno how thanks

Faysall, 04 Jul 2009U were able to use front camera only bcoz u r using nimbuzz..otherwise u can not use it unless... moreyes, u right. But even Nimbuzz can take only stills. For the use of Nimbuzz. It still cant use this camera as a video chat camera.

I've just updated my E71 to the latest firmware. Nothing much significant. The main difference other than the widget - facebook, myspace & youtube, which u can bookmark it manually, the browser does not shut down when viewing data intensive websites. This updates improves the overall performace on web browsing - more stability.

Friends,
I was able to use the front camera for the first time. I have no 3G on my phone. with just DSL connection, I was using Nimbuzz IM. And I wanted to change my picture. To my surprise, I got a pic from the front camera. Maybe, this camera will work for video chat on DSL connection. let me try while talking to some one. Will keep you all informed.

con: short battery life, screen easily smudge, difficult to open and close battery cover, keyboard too small. Pro: looks cool, packed with functions

Great phone. Been using it for 3 months without any problem until one morning, as i power on, memory card was corrupted. Still on the learning curve and no backup yet. Used the opportunity to upgrade firmware thru Nokia care for free. But I have to install applications one by one.
