Install new v... morei searched on internet and found the solution.i deleted the internet radio filesfrom sys/bin from memorycard and restarted the device and now my cell working fine....thanks for your help.take care

My battery life only last for ard 36++ hrs normally with normal usage and a bit of surfing the internet ( most is half an hour ). it this normal or wat ? please share your experience. thks

Go to the nearest Nokia Care and get it done there. Doing it urself is a great risk as I lost my E61i doing it. Always make use of Nokia Care specially if u r in warranty period.

Install new version?" and I said yes. After that Internet Radio and many other progs stopped working. I had to re-install the firmware from Nokia Care. It is working fine with Kaspersky AntiVirus prog installed now.

guys the new pc suite of nokia is buggy on e71:
does not back-up the infos. in calendar
be careful in backing up your phone... e71 rocks,,,turning 1 yr old next month,,,still love my e71 210.21.006 hacked.
please let me know if where could i get a black housing for e71.

after dioing same since you are not satisfied update the software using nokia PCSUIT befor doing so take the backup of your contact & messages only(zakirdgl@gmail.com)

john doe, 19 Jun 2009the antenna is at the bottom of the phone behind the chrome bezel , this is indeed a very awkw... moreI tried replacing the sim card from my other phone. It works well now, when I hold it when I typing sms it losses 3 bars only, better than the other operator.
Now I am interchanging the sim cards of my two phones, problem solved. This phone is just too good to let go.
Why dont hold on a little bit on your phone and wait for E72. It might be better

By far my favourite phone. I've been through every smartphone out there & this has to be my favourite. The Blackberry Bold cant compare, neither can the Omnia or ANY HTC phone.... thi sis the best phone out right now.

NM, 20 Jun 2009i read the specs on e71 and they are like way better than blackberry bold and curve 8900. howe... morepersonally i would prefer the nokia e71 because it is much more compact and pocket able also you dont hav to be on proprietary blackberry data plan any simple data works well with it . also differtent push email applications can be downloaded to make it work like a blackberry .
all said and done the email experience is not close to a bb . if you can live with that then this is the phone for you . i answer to mostly 5 to 10 mails a day and i am happy with my e71
oh and yeah that soled steel build quality makes it home . only if the rf was as solid as a bb

the camera is so bad when using in night time or even in day time in low light..lcd always blink while browsing images

i read the specs on e71 and they are like way better than blackberry bold and curve 8900. however do u think(personal opinion) that e71 is much better than both of the blackberry?

Although it detects wifi and access pin is also identified when i put but when enter any web feeds or try to browse the message appears NO GATEWAY REPLY. How it can be resolved and also advise how and from which website opera can be download if it can help to use wifi connection.

rain, 19 Jun 2009yup i just had this unit 2 days ago, i notice the sudden drop in signal strength if i hold it ... morethe antenna is at the bottom of the phone behind the chrome bezel , this is indeed a very awkward placement of the rf antenna because this is where the phone is supposed to be held while texting or using anyway
when held by both hands my e71 looses most of its signal bars and i am down to zero network or just one bar where it looses on even the edge network and continuing chat through im is a pain . the only workaround to this problem seems to hold the phone in a different manner but then typing on the qwerty keypad is not so comfortable .
i am tending to rethink my decision of buying this e71 . all the features are perfect and just what i need but if i dont find the solution to my problem i might have to let go off this wonderful phone . after all what use is a phone if you can not use its basic functions
@vinay , no it iz the general network signal strength i am talking about the data goes down with it aswell
