It worked like a charm for me as I had the same issue after downloading and installing themes on my E71. You don't have to go through mass storage though, I just did it through Nokia PC Suite.

Nokia's symbian has a system to install any installer remains on your memory card after it turned on... So it's okay with that, cause you have applications, in the early time of using it, usually it says,"untrusted application found on memory card. Go to file manager to install it"..... It just the same...
*until 7 months this phone still rocks! with more than 50 themes and 30 applications it still gives me its power*

Hi all. I am using the E71 for the last 2 months. Once i am switching on the hand set, i am getting a message " unable to install from the memory card, to install the remianing applications, go to application manager."
Previously there was some error shown while installing some applications. I started getting this message after this. All the other functions of the handset are proper and fine except not getting a good battery backup. Pls advice. Thanks in Advance

Hello Guys, Has anyone tried Nokia Messaging on E 71? I was trying to configure my work email (pop3) however was unable to do so. Since Nokia Messaging support IMAP, pls advise how do i go abt configuring a pop3 a/c through Nokia Msgng.

hi everybdy i have one e71 from few days everyhting is working properly except the mobile fone time is running correctly but when the screensaver will come the tym is different and its running back than the actual tym of the set some tyms more than hour back...so pls suggest a solution for this ...than..

Was told that the languages are mostly European ?? Is this correct ?? Please let me know if any one has the "Made in Finland" model ! Thanks

I love my e71.this phone is really slim,though the qwerty is abit small for me but i get used to it now.browsing with my e71 is brilliant.youtube is clear,i love youtube.battery life is good too,i used 3g network alltime.e71 is quite fast,but still sometimes it lags.if u install application,it is best you install it in the phone memory so it wont lag.sound quality not as good as my k850i.using it as modem,iT's best through usb cable(bluetooth connection cant detect it as modem only data transfer/dial up modem).viewing photos cant in thumbnails.I install seven for push email(it's great),operamini(faster & easier even in edge network),nimbuzz(for chatting),youtube application,and some games.overall,it is a great phone and in reasonable price(3.850.000 rupiah in indonesia),but 369mhz processor isnt the best but good enough.anyway,e71 rockz...

help plz... anyone who has this phone.. what has been ur experience with it? when browsing it, is it smooth? or it lags? what about sound quality? is it high enough or no too high? is it comfortable when carrying? is it resistant to hits, or if it falls, it will break in thousand pieces(i need to know, cuz many times my phone can receive some hits)... umm what else... i dunno xD, u tell me any other good thing about this phone and something of what i asked..

how do i receive picture messages on my nokia e71

Do anyone facing this problem... whenever i plug in the usb or take out the memory stick to upload fle to my phone and after that i plug it back to the phone or unplug the usb, the memory card will still show " memory card in use" and i need to reboot my phone to get it working again. And worse, some of the downloaded application like GPS, games will restore to the original destination i.e installation folder and all the song i assign for the group also cancelled. Wat happen??

Some do mistakes, which NOKIA has been done with manufacturing of E71. Where people hard to find to go for a another one, after using E71. The greatest ever saw in NOKIA market upto.
