This is a smart phone. If you are not smart enough to use it, then don't get it. I have the gmail client and have mulitiple accounts open. IMAP works great. By the way, if you are having problems, there is a book in the box, it's called the users manual.

If you update your software, it will improve the camera.
I use the SIP client to make internet calls and they are crystal clear. Its a great phone.

I've just bought my Black E71 and it looks great ... however what bothers me is that I don't have the windows live mail application. Even though my friend who bought the same model one month ago has it pre- installed
how can I get the application?

Hey guys I'm seriously considering buying this phone..but i want the black one, which im probably gonna get off Ebay. Can anyone tell me if it will work with Rogers or Fido? Or should I stick to the grey/steel...plz help

Namit, 29 Mar 2009i have got a new E71, i am using it since past 3days n its being hanged 3times a day whenever ... moredude....u better return your fone..i had the same problem...n nokia maps were hangin it tooo...
also RLZ..i found my problem...i use mgmaps...for that ive downloaded maps from the net...the folder is about 200 mb for bombay. but there are like 35000 files in it,...when i removed this folder from my memory card , my fone gallery works well + i can use it in pc suiet mode n sync etc...
btw the camera quality sucks..guess i hav to live with that !

i have got a new E71, i am using it since past 3days n its being hanged 3times a day whenever a recieve a incoming call. i have to restart it again.
Its E71-1 version 200.21.118
tell me wht shall i do?
shall i get my phone software update?
if yes then tell me how can i get version * 210.21.006: Released 17-03-2009 ?
can i update thru my nokia software updater the latest version?will it select automatically the latest version?

also im havin gallery problems..i cant open gallery when my memory card is loaded with songs///.if i remove the card...it opens...

which region is the nokia e71-1 supposed to be for?? im using it in the uk but the shop i bought it from very well could have imported it... any help appreciated

Andrew, 27 Mar 2009You need to go to Nokia's web site, then your region to see which version of the E71 is for yo... moreheya iv got e71-1 with the default firmware... ive tried 2 update on the nokia site but after i type my product code in it says that theres no new firmware available... any idea why? thankz in adavnce
