E71 ROCKS!i just bought my phone here in the philippines yesterday and i really love it! i got the black edition and it doesn't cost much for this kind of phone. youtube is excellent! very clear resolution while watching clips. i can't wait to upgrade my memory to 8 gig so i could enjoy more. good thing i chose this over 5800. im very much satisfied.
Are there any programs or ways out there that would allow the E71 to use windows mobile based apps?
does anyone know why am i not getting any updates for my E71...? :(
josh, 25 Mar 2009is this better than the bold? certainly less bulkyI think that e71 is almost the same with bold.bold is powerfull in push mail service with BB connectivity.but, it dosnt mean that e71 cant do it.e71 supports push mail by using apps: nokia messaging, emoze, seven, morange, etc.both are very great phone.now, its depend on your taste to choose e71 or bold

I have always brought my phones firstly on 'does it do what I want' then want do other people think of it.... To date my judgement choice has always been spot on, this phone is one of those good choices.
Looks, quality of build and features are perfect for the 'ordinary' phone user and the phone 'geeks'. Don't worry about the qwerty keyboard size, I have large digits and only hit the wrong keys when I forget how to spell a word. When texting it's a little disappointing that there is no facility to go to recently used contacts, but getting to the desired contact only needs a few presses to get there.Size is the best ever for a phone with the amount of features this has, it gets a little warm after lengthy calls, but with a battery that powers so many tasks at the same time, what do you expect? Speaking of battery power, I have seen reviews that say it does not last long..... my battery lasted for 4+ days before a recharge and that was with internet, email calls and text applications open and in use frequently, I only recharged it at that point because I was afraid it might die on me during day 5 !!! Camera could be better but I have produced some quality shots that you would be hard pushed to tell they had been taken with a 3.2 megapixal camera. (Tip, master the auto focus before complaining about the poor picture quality ). I would recommend this to all if you need email, text photo and word/pdf/excel use on a phone...it does it all. A minor downside and it is trivial, is the case. It's well built but does not allow for easy phone retrieval when you get a call. Easily worth a 9.5 out of ten following 20 years of 'picky' phone ownership. Hope you enjoy your E71.
I have read a lot of user experiences. Thanks a lot for sharing your experiences.
I have a few questions before opting for this fone.
I will be really grateful if i get answer to all of these.
1 How is the sound quality in context of the following :
a. Music i.e MP3
i. With Earplugs
ii. Without earphones i.e. Loud Speaker
b. Ring Tone Volume in crowded places.
c. While watching a vedio on you tube.
2. Is the camera quality fine as compared to other 3.2 MP phones like n73 or other nokia phones???
3 How is the web surfing experience and mails, can we send and view mails with attachments and if yes is it a smooth process or are there lags. In case if we surf using the wi-fi.
It will be really appreciable if the answers to my question can be relative, i mean in comparison to other phones. Like for sound and all, a comparitive review with N73 or any other music fone.
Thanks in advance frendz.
