To ALL you E71 owners:
First of all which firmware was the first firmware ? At first I was wondering about 100.07.06 being the first version but that was released August 6, 2008 and the E71 was released in July so there was an earlier firmware. If any you people purchased your E71 in July and haven't upgraded your firmware since, please check and tell me the version number.
Secondly, to who all you people who have used both the E71-1 (European model) and E71-2 (American model)...does the European E71 ringing volume, loudspeaker volume and overall audio volume seems louder than the American one ?

Blackberry still kicks this handset into touch. very plain menu but a good looking handset

I use E71 for all my email accounts. Works well. I do have the unlimited internet plan "ATT Media Net Plan". Question though-If I use the phone to connect internet from my laptop when I am out of my office, will I get additional bill or that is covered under my plan since I am using my phone's internet?

One of the best phones nokia has ever produced. It just need more "theme" support from Nokia itself to make the phone more enjoyable....
Using stainless steel as its casing makes it more sturdy. I'll stay with E71 more rather than the much hyped iPhone.

People who are having issues with their s/w just download the new firmware. All you have to do is install the nokia pc suite CD came that with the phone. Click on the 'update phone s/w'. nearly all the camera and app isuues should be resolved. the original handset s/w fresh out of the box will have bugs.

I bought a E 71 and used the same for few hours.The battery drains out in few mins & the phone heats up to a level that it cannot be held in the hand. Can someone please let me know what could possibly be the issue? I am a regular Nokia user but this phone has let me down !!

nothing bad about the phone,it is user friendly.u can acces everything with it,and its a beautiful handset.

I bought my E71 about 15 days ago,Some times when I want to use the camera ,The phone Show "Camera:Feature not supported" message.I m must turn off the phone,and turn on it 5 min latter,It work true for about 1 or 2 hours.
I update my phone to the latest frame ware,But it didn't solve,Please lead me.

Hi friends, please help me out! Since my purchase in Sept 2008, my E71 is facing a problem. Whenever I try to open any password-protected page like emails, Orkut etc with the native browser, I cann't open the page. A tiny lock sign appears near the signing in button, and the page doesn't open. But other pages open fine. With opera mini browser all the pages open. The native email set up works fine. But only the native browser fails to open password protected pages!
PLEASE help me out ! Thanks a lot in advance!

The E63 was produced as a BUDGET VERSION to the E71. Th E63 is made from plastic materials while the E71 is made from very high quality stainless steel. The E63 also have much less features than the E71 and the packaging isn't as rich as the E71.
I have seen many many many people commend and highly praise their E71 and very few complain about theirs being faulty.
Get your facts straight before you post.

pls i hv problm wit my N71. SOMETIMES my phone seizes to display the menu icons weneva i tap on the menu key. Pls wat do feel the prob is?
2. DO N71 really need an ANTIVIRUS 4 d safty of d files.
