Yes, I also noticed that this no longer works properly. Unlike the old Nokia OS, you no longer see the age/years of the person/anniversary. You always have to calculate back. Really annoying.
The Symbian OS misses many things the old Nokias had as standard.

If I set an alarm, it sometimes (not always) will set the alarm for the NEXT DAY!!!
I was catching a train in 4 hours time and just want to put my head down, so I set the alarm. Guess what, I missed my train!
But sometimes it does NOT. You have to scroll down each time just to make sure it didn't choose the next day.

E71 is a fantastic phone i,m using fr the past 3month without any problem. . one of my colleuge used the 5800 phone n returned it within one week real rubbish. coz the ist touch screen fone from nokia . they hv to learn a lot on touch screen

I am thinking to buy a new mobile phone, but i got confused a bit between E71 and 5800.I am more attracted by E71 though,I want some ans.
1. 5800 and E71,both have 3.1 MP cam, which one has better clarity of snaps??
2. how is the sound clarity of E71??
3. for surfing, which one is better?

Amir, 18 Jan 2009I got E71 and i set the contact so it appears first name then last name but when i recieve mes... moreSet the setting in contacts to First name last name. Sync contacts with MS Outlook and correct the first and last names. Sync back to phone.

yes youtube definetly work here, "BUT" idnt know the speed of iphone in terms of watching youtube via mobile..speed of e71 kinda sluggish but not that slow..... And image quality not that perfect....coz dis is not a multimedia phone....but it works fine....

First time using a e series phone by nokia coming from using a samsung omnia and nokia n95 i have to admit that i havent seen a phone this beautiful before great sleek design lovely metal finish great phone with alot of media flexibility i have to admit great phone by nokia they are actually scoring really good in phone market right now amazing
