This is simply the best smartphone I ever had. The specs are great, the keyboard and form factor are greate, but most of all the performance is fantastic.
Everything is instantaneous. I can switch from program to program and from one screen to another without delays.
And the battery really lasts a lot. I gave up using an iPhone 3G because everything was so slow, and I frequently found myself desperate to charge my phone by the end of the day.
Jason, 10 Dec 2008I agree completely. It's just a little child. A bit more serious would be appreciated.Thank you Jason, glad someone is on my wave length, Richard
Does it have a smart reader function as it's in Samsung I8510?

No I was referring to the Samsung, that runs on windows mobile. Nokia has it's own system called Symbian, which by the way also is used by other manufacturers.
I hope to get my Nokia E71 next week.
Best regards, Jason.

tolits, 11 Dec 2008I never had problem when browsing internet using WiFi and GPRS with this Nokia E71. It's just ... moreTotally agree with you dude, the e71 is awesome, cannot believe the amount of features this handset has and what it is capable off, this is nothing like the old symbian handsets at all, the e71 is really quick and smooth to responses. The size and weight of this handset is great.
There's some people out there who buy this phone and dont even know the true capabilities of this handset, they than come here and post negative comments about the e71, well just to let you people know this handset has won quite a few prestigious awards for best the handset of the year.
My company phone has always been a blackberry, until a college of my was using the e71 and recommended this handset and now i love it, i hope nokia keep the e-series handsets running for a long time as there is a massive market out there for these type of handsets.
My advice to anyone thinking about buying this handset is to buy it, its definantly the best nokia handset i have used and will always use for as long as nokia keeps making them.
Goodbye blackberry bold
hello nokia e71
this site is for the wise... this site tells me what phone to get so i can defeat the dark force...
Prindorz, 11 Dec 2008In comparing E71 and Nokia 5800,what can u say? I am confused, dont know which one to go for... for sure I would choose the E71 over the 5800! I don't like a full touch screen! I have experiences with a Samsung Omnia. Typing and using the touch screen is a disaster! And of course windows mobile is very unfriendly to use and SLOWWWWwwww.... So my choice will be the Nokia E71 (or at least a Nokia).
Good luck with making the right choice. Best regards, Jason.
Could this b the perfect phone?QWERTY,camera >2MP,FM radio...onboard memory not up to par with newest phones though.seems better than the HTC S710? please advise
