I've just aquired one and i'm happy with it but sometimes, when the batery is allmost emty, it freeses, but overall it's more than ok.

i am a Blackberry user, got my E71 a month ago, very nice phone but went it comes to Email it sucks, if you are looking for pushed emails you will be very disappointed like I am now. You can install a beta version of Nokia Email for pushed emails but it's not effective like a BlackBerry, for example when you open your emails on your desktop, all emails get deleted from you phone, in another word you can never save an email on the device. In conclusion, if you are a havy email user do not buy the Nokia E71.

you are right that hyperpanda is offering this at Dhs1500/- , and it;s a fair price for E71 coz wholesale price for Nokia E71 in dubai is Dhs1410 with 2GB Card.
My dear most of the big outlets in Dubai are bastards keeping a profit rate of more than Dhs 400 on such models. Check carrefour, Plugins and Jumbo and try not to buy anything from these big bastards if you really want to save your hard earned money.

No peeling here.
Been using it since July and it's still as new (and I don't use a pouch or anything like it).

There is inbuild TIM, Alice Mail, Tin.it, Virgilio email accont. Is it OK. I am a little bit confused as I did't see it in another phone. can someone help me, because i downloaded videos and images from the internet using WIFI which has an extension name .3gp and .jpg but i can't view the image and the video is not playing. do i need to set up something or what. pls help me thanks...

My g-mail account i... moreit probably way too late to answer your qn TJ but incase u never got around to understanding why yo u couldn't sync ur E71 with Yahoo mail, it's because you needed to enable POP access/mail forwarding in your e-mail account and to do that you need to have a 'paying' Yahoo account. The free account that most of us have doesn't support the feature. U need to use the Yahoo Go app to access ur e-mails

This is a business phone. U can check email on the move & surf for information anywhere. To enjoy the benefits of fast processor & long battery life, it should compliment with an unlimited data plan.
WIFI is although faster, in terms of data transfer, but one is restricted to the frequency range.
I'm using 3G/HSDPA when accessing data. Consider a heavy user for data. The battery can last me decently for 2 full days. My previous N93i battery could only last me 3/4 day.
