HAHA!!..welcome to the club my friend!..u made a good choice..finally u bought it,i was starting to wonder when u r going to buy a phone. ;-)
anyways,congrats on getting ur N82.i myself am using using it to the max,taking all the pictures i go back to my home country,and i tell u,man,this phone is what helps me keep my memories...just priceless...is it the black one or the silver?..hmmm..so i was right about the Navi6210's navigation not being free..hehe..

Just to confirm, you are correct about 9th August being the release date on Vodafone UK. That's when the first delivery is due at the warehouse but they may be in the warehouse on the 8th ready for deliveries on the 9th.

In Australia all Nokia phones are either, 'Made in China', 'Made in Korea' or 'Made in Nokia'. This is except for E-Series which are all 'Made in Finland'. Not sure why, but I won't complain! My E60, E70 and now E71 were all 'Made in Finland'.

I own the E61i and it does have automatic email retrieval. I am sure the E 71 would.

I dont underst... moreI dont think so its bad and better than e61i. bcz it has better camera than e61i,it has apm (airtel power mail)which is better than blackbery bcz its cheaper and better provided by airtel. Screen is 2.4inch and its not so bad.

AD, 04 Aug 2008Can anyone let me know that this E 71 has automatic email retreival option or not? Moreover... moreyes brother ur email will automaticaly b retrieved. You can also configure ur email account direct to ur handset. You just have to define ur email id n password n click to connect.

How can i find out which version of software is installed on my set and what is the... moreIn nokia phones press *#0000# and it will give you the date and edition of your device's firmware.Check the nokia site for your phone's latest firmware.Update it through nokia pc suite if u have an adsl line.I did it on an e50 I have.All the programmes work fine.I had to istall only some games again.All the preinstalled nokia apps work fine.With the nokia pc suite make a copy of your addressbook sms and diary first.It's a userfriendly programme.Do it if you have a stable quick line, ADSL and above!!!

Just recieved E71 today. Love it!!! So sleek and powerful and speedy! The only thing I can say I am not a big fan of is the attraction of fingerprints. Holy crap, the back cover just screams "Clean ME!!" after being held!! Other than than absolutly love it! THANK YOU NOKIA!!!!

was able to get a hold of e71 yesterday, feel of the qwerty keypad is ok with me. design is superb and build quality feels durable. was looking for the torch function (use the LED flash as flashlight) but couldn't find it. to e71 owners, please confirm if LED flash can be used as a flash light. thanks. this feature really comes in handy to me

If you're living in Asian Countries your Original Nokia Handset will be most likely Made in China. It's not common for Official Nokia Stores to sell Made in Finland Handset.
If you're planning to buy a Finland Made Handset (if you're living in Asian Countries)you will have to buy them in black market.
I sorta agree with the Finland made have better build quality, but if Nokia service centre consider them as a black market item, you cannnot do anything if you bought a faulty item.
Anyhow, I think E71 is a slick and great mobile/smart phone. Dunno whether this already been asked yet, I wonder whether we can edit office documents with the E71. And regarding the screen, is it considered a bit too small? Especially for the previous E61i owner..
