The battery life is not as good as it claimed to be.
Rest more or less its value for money.
Does someone know how to stop vibration for calender entries only. and vibration on for incoming calls and messaging.......

Business card reader cant read a single word correctly!
same is the case with text scanner.

Batter... moreHi, as for the battery life, it greatly depends on one's usage. The 10.5 hrs talktime is measured base on GSM only.
If u are on Dual Mode or WCDMA/UMTS, the talktime is up to 4.5 hrs. In Singapore, we are riding on WCDMA/UMTS technologies, so the talktime is of the lower range. Anyway, the standby + usage can last me minimum of 2.5 days before a recharge.
I'm happy with the performace so far. But the battery do heats up after about 10mins on the line. Something which I'm not comfortable with. Also, if you are using 3G/HSDPA for browsing net, the power comsumption is greater compare to using WIFI.
Lastly, if you have some fancy applications installed in your phone which you are using, it eats into your battery life too. I keep my mobile "clean". Only use those applications which are pre-installed.
Do anyone of you has the problem with download(direct from internet) & storing video files into the memory card? The RealPlayer just goes into idle mode(RP can't shut down)but the phone still works.

Advantage
-good quality build
-easy to use QWERTY keypads
-fast response
-tons of business based apps
-good battery life
-switch mode (very handy for business and home use)
- a very good bargin considering the price u pay
disadvantage
-poor quality camera for a 3.2mgpixel camera
-poor video quality (somewhere around 15-22fps at qvga res)
-2.3" screen..bummer..
-it would have been nice if it was equipped with FP2
-2.5mm jack rather than 3.5mm..
other than that,to me,everything else is ok..

Arif, 03 Aug 2008Tom im gonna just stay with the phones that i have..the N82 suits all my needs,i travel alo... moresorry about not knowing the price of the N92 in the uk,i dont live there anymore.why?are u looking for the N92?...hmmm,i wonder when exactly are they going to announce the N96..the prices of most nokia phones will surely drop..

im gonna just stay with the phones that i have..the N82 suits all my needs,i travel alot,so what i really need is a phone with a good quality camera...even the N96 does not intrigue me at all..the E90 is nice,but i dont need the full qwerty keypad..so im good....for now.
about the N92 in uk..i honestly dont know..sorry..

I was surprise that the battery life of E71 will not exceed 3hours it is not true 10.5hour for GSM since i have switch my telephnoe to GSM only and battery life was about 3hours only,but in general the phone is ok

It works with NOKIA N80.YES you can use the flash as a torch, So probably will work with the new 1s as well.

hi gyes no fone is better than this becouse it have nokia intellsinc and very good music quality as compratevly to Wseries IN SONYT ERICSSON so dont u think u to have a phone like this bye

Great product. For Business and Personal usage. By Far the best smartphone available. In my opinion, the Nokia E71 beats the Blackberry BOLD hands down. Nokia, I applaud you.

IMO the price of thenew 6210 will come down quickly anyways I have a quick question I know its an old cell but just asking. How much is N92 in the UK if its available?
I don't know why this cell was so rare and still is!
