Hello I need your help in order to decide myself to buy this phone.
CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME IF MAIL IS WORKING ( i didn't sau blackberry conectivity ).
IF YES WHAT SOFTWARE DO I NEED.
thank you for the full detail review of nokia e71 I can now take the decision To buy one of course
I just got mine 2 days ago at the Nokia Flagship Store in NYC... I've had a E61i for the past 10 months, so my comments are mostly in relation to that model.
The E71 phone is like buttah!!!~ In love with it, though I'm a camera/video lover, I was told by a rep that "camera click" and flash are securities implemented by the FCC in new phones. Idiots!
The phone is much smaller than E61i (but weights just about the same) and my bear-hands are swallowing this baby, but despite my fear of pressing three buttons at once, the keyboard is really well designed and you think you're pressing adjusant keys you're wrong.
The size is nearly that of a SLVR... The speaker is blasting (there is only on top - those two speaker-looking trapezes are releases for the battery cover)
The speed is really fast, in relation to E61i. Call quality is great and playback via speakers (including FM) is loud and clear.
From my experience with having to exchange and fix my E61i 2 times before, I would recommend buying your Nokia E71 phone directly from Nokia (store or online) - they give you full support on the spot (swapper if needed, or set-up/upgrade/help at no charge), it's not the case with phones purchased via re-sellers or outside of the US - trust me.
Me love E71!!! Loves it a lot!!!
