the sound system from the speaker is very good, very tight and hardly any distortion. the camera is just average but face difficulty in low lights situation.
Mail For Exchange kills the battery very fast, about 1 1/2 days if u r lucky, otherwise it is a beautiful well built phone.
highly recommended =)
Yesterday i did some search, was looking for E71-2 NAM version as it has been lunched. But didnt find it anywhr. Some online store mention it as available but they were out of stock and then i found it on an online forum as available
the price was Amazing
and then on the same forum i found an other thread
the interesting thing is all these people bought e71-2 from the same source people were mad abt it and i feel like this is the mobile of they year lol i think nokia did a lot business from it
I am using the E71 for a week now. In a nutshell: its an incredibly well designed and featured phone.
I am also using Blackberries, iPhones and other Smartphones in my company, but this one really surprised me although I am not easy to surprise...
Man, what a phone. Rock solid stainless steel construction, precise physical keyboard (Blackberry, please do some reverse engineering to learn from the Finns), snappy performance... And sooo amazingly slim! No wishes left open (except MobileMe sync - is it working now? ;-) )
Regarding the small keypad - it's small but it is so well built that I get the same speed like on my Blackberry 8310 (previously my favourite phone).
Push email through a mail2web hosted individual Exchange account is cheaper than the Blackberry service and exactly as efficient and reliable.
This is certainly a phone I am gong to use for months (which is really a record given my gadget-addiction :-) )
hi, i would like to know if anyone of you E61i users have already swapped their phones to this E71. If yes, is there so much difference between the two phones that would justify your decision on making the change? thanks
I saw it today and it is cool. I had an e61 which i loved but the screen broke. This is smaller and has a 3.2meg camera I can't wait to get one. Ths metal colour really finishes it off as well
www.popularelect.com aka popular electronics got e71-2 i got mine loving it
Can anyone out there pls tell me whether the E71 has any call recording features? Or is there any 3rd party softwares that supports this function. Tq

Got this phone about a week ago.. bought it as soon as laid eyes on it.. a beauty so0o0 very very slim.. got it for P23k here in the phil.. Very fast phone, stylish, stainless steel!. very easy to use qwerty keyboard once you get used to it.. resets by itself once in a while but its almost negligible.. haven't seen it hang yet.. JAVA! yes!.. Good battery.. Very fast phone.. A lot better than my treo 750 wm6.. WLAN is great!!.. Camera is good.. headset for radio, bummer.. Good office application.. wished excel could hide fields like in the pc.. Calendar could be better.. have seen minor bugs like contacts names repeating when writing messages, backlight turns off by itself even when in use.. no touch screen? awww... otherwise.. great phone! 9/10
thanx 4 nokia.......

hey gsmarena! looking forward for your review on this phone :) go go go go! :D
Has anyone had a problem with the camera ZOOM? I have had mine for 3 weeks now, and just recently used the camera. Found out that, when you zoom in between 50% and 90% the picture taken is unrecognisable - it just shows a multitude of colours, but not the actually picture you were suppose to take - has anyone else had this problem? Also, some menu titles (the longer ones) appear faded, like the few last words are missing... If, for example, you go to Tools - Settings - General - Personalisation ... you can only read Personalisat - the rest ("ion") is faded or unreadable. This is only an example - I found it in some of the other menus as well. Has anyone had similar problems, mainly with the camera ZOOM? I just need to know if I got a faulty device, or if other E71 owners are having the same problem? Thanks.
d phone is r beautiful work of craftmanship,
wondering if its got r tv out & 3.5mm jack.
No lag, very responsive (not like usual Nokia)
