why dont you see the other great touch screen phones like apple iphone ? or samsung omnia? nokia will be down and losssss every think with out a really touch screen phone with UI . by the way i am uosing the nokia for 8years now and i have the e90 and the sirocco and other nokia phones man so dont be go so fast with gaging people

Notika, 23 Jul 2008Yesterday i did some search, was looking for E71-2 NAM version as it has been lunched. But did... morecheck ebay. alot of those same sold out retailers actually have some on ebay. I ordered mine yesterday, its "out for delivery" on a fedex truck now.

OK NOKIA E71 IS COOL E90 COOL ALL NOKIA PHONES IS COOL BUT??? if nokia will not put a touch screen phones in the market starting from this year or in the end of year they will be down .... yes trust my words. they are the #1 still but see how samsung gos in les then a year to the second stepes after nokia saling and sony gos to the forth of the list now as i can see in GSMARENA ? so i dont think that my massage will be post for nokia but i feel better now to say that and talk about it .

I would like to ask if any of you experience any errors when transferring music via nokia pc suite. the software just would not respond and would close itself. I however was able to transfer music by directly copying and pasting the files to the memory card but this means that the format of the files is not mobile optimised. Also, I could not play MPEG4 videos properly. It only plays the sound without the vidie uself.
Did any of you encounter the same issues? What did you do? I'm thinking since this is one of the newer relases, there are still a lot of bugs in the software. But if it's just me experiencing these, then my unit sure has a defect...
PS - I replaced my N95 with this unit. My only regret is with the downgrade for me in terms of speaker and picture quality... and probably the problematic software...

It's a King of communication, Style, Class, comfort, and specially it looks so good in the hands of a man like me!!! Look guys just buy for your self, its the way you carry it. i would have bought an SE too but i know it dosent suits, well Ofcors its a very reliable phone.

I got this phone for 1 week already. Now the camera cannot take picture when i used zoom function.And the flash never fire when takin picture in a low light condition.Anybody got the same problems?

I changed my E61i with E71 and what i can say is it worth every cent of the 170euro you pay more. Its have an incredible 8800 feeling in your hand, very slim and balanced weight. The reaction speed increased noticeble by 50% and somehow feels very different than E61i. The camera and the hot-swap card are obviously a huge step.
I just got it 24h ago, but i dont regret it at all. Sorry for the brief post, give me some more time to play with this lovely toy.

ps - dont ever order from ctimiami - those guys are serious crooks. i bought a e71 from them 3 weeks ago. they false advertised - it was made in malaysia so no us 3g and the wireless connection is awful and no real email support. they would not even take the phone back saying because i wrote on the box. i put their return number on the box!!! CRooks, crooks crooks!!!!

I was disappointed by the picture quality. Although Nokia’s picture quality is a lot better than other phones but the photo taken were quite dark and the flash never kicked in to help. Because of the dark photos, the color never looked right. Well, to be fair the E71 is never claimed to be a camera phone.

Hi anonymous, suggest you stick to your E90, given the large screen and faster processor. The E71 is a good phone, but its not a communicator. However, if you like its good looks, you can give it a try.

my old E61 had 2 browsers, Web and Services. The E71 has only the Web browser. I may be missing something but is there a way to access the Services function? Thanks.
