This phone have everything but this is one of the worst design from Nokia.
Dears, I purchased the phone 2 days ago and it works perfectly but I noticed that it is Made in Korea under the authority of Nokia Corporation in Finland. Is that the normal case for everybody? Or is the first stock treated as trial or test sets???
E71 has everything that a person needs from a good business phone. I had a question. The browser provided is":
Browser WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML
IT means i cant open it like a normal browser ??? Just likehow we use IE etc..Please do pass on ur comment..
just saw the dummy of this phone in nokia store today....looks damn cool...the keys looks a lil small though...would someone who has used it, comment on the ease of typing??
hows the camera quality? is it worth the price?
SAR, bloody SAR.. 1.33 - 1.53 W/Kg! A mini-microwave oven. Shame on Nokia.
popa, 09 Jul 2008Hello GSM Arena, I have question about NOKIA E71 What does the described next mean? Acc... moreE71-1, E71-2, E71-3 are seperate model types. You have to be careful of getting the right one that works for you.
just saw the e71 in the nokia store today... omg its so amazing... its like holding an 8800 just in a business suit... i am totally getting one... the e66 isnt that great built imo... its slightly plasticky than the e71... but accelerometer is a plus point...
can anybody tell me whether full photo will be displayed for an incoming call
Is there an "Accelerometer sensor" feature in this phone?
Doesn't seem to be written anywhere. Weirdly Nokia has this feature in the E66 only.
Prosenjitz, 08 Jul 2008Regarigog Blackberry compatiblity in E71, on its launch day, when asked about this, the Nokia... morehi, i really wished to know how is the quality of the images taken by E71 camera. Im very interested to purchase this phone but Im a bit held back by the camera image quality.

Hello GSM Arena,
I have question about NOKIA E71
What does the described next mean?
According to Nokia web site specification for
•E71-1 Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 900/2100 HSDPA
•E71-2 Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/1900 HSDPA
•E71-3 Quad-band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, WCDMA 850/2100 HSDPA
•WCDMA 900/2100 or 850/1900 or 850/2100,
Is this one phone described only or there are three phones and I have to look for the one with corresponding frequency and provider in my living area or I can buy any E71 phone that will cover all of the above? I can find a lot of different prices and specification online so I don’t know which one works for me as price and functionality.
Regarigog Blackberry compatiblity in E71, on its launch day, when asked about this, the Nokia Officials categorically stated that right now this phone is not Blackberry compatible. Actually this phone is the direct challenger of Blackberry devices, and the target consumer segment is same, the email-happy professionals. So, may be RIM (Research in Motion, the owner of blackberry) is not ready to empower its direct competitor phone with their technology. So, at least officially, Nokia E71 is not a blackberry-enabled device.
But, I may be wrong, Nokia E51 was also not officially a blackberry enabled device when it was launched. But still, one can use blackberry in it, by following the steps suggested for Nokia E90. May be in any such way, E71 also.... :-)
But excepting the extreme power users, is there any real need for blackberry in E71? The phone is capable of automatically checking mails in every five minutes. That means whenever a new mail arrives in your inbox, you can see it on the screen of E71 within maximum five minutes. Isn't it sufficient for most of us?
And regarding camera, though the camera, as per technical specs is of 3.2 MP with auto focus, the still photo quality is very poor, as declared by all renouned reviewers. When one has to pay the price of the camera also, while buying E71 (nokia hasn't added it for free ! :-), why one will accept a poor camera? May be nokia will say that to keep the price of E71 more affordable (than E90) they have to add a cheap camera!! Business Logic !!
