It has 4 Defects
1).real player can set full screen
2).it doees't support higher video version of .MP4
3).it internal memory is very less it 110 MB
4) No phone is supporting .AVI video format
if it improves 3 defects it is become best then e5,e6,e7,x7

i have the problem that when i use the camera's focus,when it capture the image in result it black image after a w8....it works like that it going to hang!!! plz tell me the problem

hi guys ! i have one problem with my e 71 ,sometimes appear on my screen "insert SIM card" and i dont know why .. what can it be? thx!

you can do voice chat on your e71 and even video chats.
but for that you need a software like im+, fring. but please note that gtalk supports only voice calls as of now and for video chats yahoo is stable. for all these your phone should be in dual mode. even though you dont have 3g activated. dont worry about charges, normal pack which you have activated works fine.

reply 1 - all those e71 owners. your choice is good. and future going to buy users. please go for e6 and not for e5. e6 is the rightful successor of e71.
reply 2 - you can connect your phone to computer for internet with nokia suite or pc suite. for tata docomo you need a latest version of the above mentioned software.
reply 3 - in what way you want to use gps? use nokia maps for complete door to door, turn by turn navigation

I have a prob in my e71 that it contains the autorun in the phone memory not the memorycard and each time I want to install the sis software it fails even for the configuration of the blutooth headset it doesnt work i tried the pc sweet it did not solve the prob so wat can I do thanks

Can i do voice chat using gtalk at E71.... presently i do only the written chat ...?
I cant connect internet at laptop using my E71...why...i am having tata docomo as service provider...is that the reason..?

However my dad has a E5 and it is a lot more than 'just a phone'. Wish I bought a Droid .

AnonD-31631, 25 Nov 2011hey guyzzz plz help me out, i have a nokia e71 whose firmware ver. Is 100.07.76 ,08-06-2008 , ... more@kush E-71: that seems to be a serious problem. I select the option "PC Suite" when I want my phone to be detected by Nokia Suite (previously Ovi Suite). However, I totally understand that this doesn't always work. I'm not sure of the reason why but this is probably how Nokias of this world works. :-) But we still love and use our phones anyway.
Few things you can try:
1. Make sure that you have the latest Nokia Suite installed: http://europe.nokia.com/support/product-support/nokia-ovi-suite
2. Restart your phone. Connect your phone to PC using the cable and select "PC Suite".
3. If #2 doesn't work, connect via bluetooth. This is weird because connection via bluetooth almost always works but not via cable.

Your problems with wifi and antenna are better to be handled by experts from Nokia Care Center in your area. There's a possibility that installing the firmware updates (in case you're not using the latest one) may fix those problems but there's really no guarantee because these may also be caused by hardware issues/defects.
