Many people have shown concern about volume...
S volume is lilltle less when u listen to music, but headphones it very high no issue atall.
About volume performance during call, its absolutely good. I dont feel any problem while in traffic,I have kept it in highest level and were able to talk properly in traffic without any issues.
LOUDNESS:
I personally feel that the sound volume isn't loud enough with this set.
I use blue-tooth most of the time.
caution for new buyers:
I bought this set a week back.. i realised that the speaker has a problem (constant disturbance during call).
Shop keeper as well realised this and agreed for a replacement. Yesterday I got new one but shockingly even that had same problem and now I am waiting for another replacement. It may be the case that the whole lot at this shop has this problem, so waiting for new consignment now.
Better check your new handset as replacement is not easy at every dealer.
hi guys,
I know this question may have appeared before, but I need to ask it and get a reply from a person who really used this mobile.
how is the sound quality and loudness from the handset during calls? can you have a phone conversation in a noisy place with many people around, or in the street with many cars passing by? and hows the reception?
I asked about this coz I sold my blackberry 8520 due to these reasons, I need a good business phone without compromising the calls LOUDNESS and quality, any help is welcome.
regards;
How's the camera quality of E72 and about sound quality plzzzzzzzz reply meeeeeeeeeee fasttttt dear friendsssssss

Yolande, 23 Jun 2010How do I get rid of the flashing envelope at the bottom of the screen?
Try to find your SMS stored in the simcard (instead of the phone memory) then select all --> select delete all (or) move to phone memory..
The flashing mail bellow indicates that there's SMS stored on your simcard.. nothing to worry about.. ;)
Anonymous, 23 Jun 2010Does somebody know if the E72 will get the updated home screen like the one seen on the E5 and... moreprobably not as this is a high endphone. The new home screen looks more like its geared towards social networking. An option to choose between the 2 would be nice though. I prefer the standby on e72 rather than having pictures of people on my home screen.

Yolande, 23 Jun 2010How do I get rid of the flashing envelope at the bottom of the screen?
I got an e72 two weeks ago and i got the flashing envelope. To get rid of mine, i found that it was the phone telling me that my sim card message memory was full,i used the sim card from mt previous nokia n70. So go to your messages then select options, choose Sim Messages, it will open your sim messages currently on the card, delete some or all of it and see if the envelope stops. Mine stopped immediately.
I got a new E72, and have the email all set up with Nokia messaging. But I met with a problem.
On Internet, when I send an email out, the sender's name will be my name - "s F" - The way I want it to be.
BUT! When I send an email out from my mobile, the sender's name becomes "FS". The first and last names swop, and there isn't any spacing either.
I know there is a "My Name" in the mailbox settings, I keyed in "S F" or even leave it blank, the sender's name from mobile is still "FS".
I called Nokia, and the technical support said the sender's name is DEFAULT?
What nonsense is this? Is this really default? Sounds ridiculous to me. It's awful!
