Can an e72 USER, tell me whether you need to select access points every time you use nokia browser or opera mini? i have used e61i and e71 and both always require you to select an access point. what i would like to know is can you define and use an access point group, so you never have to select which connection type to use. i find it extreamly annoying to keep selecting all the time. blackberry phones will automatically select a wifi connection for internet and email and will switch automatically to GPRS when there is no faster connection available.
thanks in advance

Im not sure but try goto Control Panel > Settings > General > Sensors > Turning control. There you can have Silencing calls (on/off) and Snoozing alarms (on/off). Choosing "On" means that you can do above just by turning the phone from front to back or vice versa.

Hi.... guys can you tell me about its internet connectivity. Is it slow of fast...
[deleted post]Not sure about X6 but E72 is not worth what it is... I bought a E 72 just one week back and following are the issues
When i get a call i wont be able to use the track pad, for some reason the sensors stop working
When i transfer songs over bluetooth the phone hangs while saving
When i transfered a video from a E 75 phone my phone hung indefinately, and i had to reboot the phone, the funniest part is that the phone was not rebooting with the reboot button, i had to remove the battery to make it reboot.
I am very disappointed with what i got on E 72...So think before you buy this...
I am being told that this could be one default piece, but i dont think so
Coolstan, 01 Jun 2010Pls does anyone know what proximity sensor for auto turn-off mean? I've been seeing this in so... moreproximity sensor is found mainly in touchscreen phones.
it turns off the touch screen functionality of the phone while we answer or make a call just to prevent any unintended touch.
it automatically turns off the screen when the phone is held near ear.

I need to get some questions answered;
- BlackBerry or Nokia E72?
- Is putting Wirele... moreThe e72 is a great device. You will need to know how to set it up to fetch emails through the available connections.
For IM i use fring(includes yahoo, msn, google on one screen). The best thing about fring is it automatically roams between your wirelss lan connections and GPRS/3g connections. Fring your friends' signal connection so you can decide whether to voice call, chat or vdo call.
Best of all the e72 is super thin with great battery life.
anyone have loose optical pad problem on their e72??
can it be fixed?
Awoosh x, 31 May 2010Heey. I need to get some questions answered; - BlackBerry or Nokia E72? - Is putting Wirele... moreThe E72 is better in all ways. But if you want the popular BB messenger/ping option, it's the BB for you.
