Even after selecting download full message, it downloads only text. And when I click on the HTML link, it then begins to download, so I have to wait for it.
Whereas in previous e-mail client or Nokia Messaging in E63 downloads the HTML and directly shows HTML when you open the message.

And when you're viewing the text part there is a link that would lead you to the full html message.
I love my e72! I love its camera and video quality the most. Although, there are a few things that I don't really like about it. You will have a little hard time typing as the keys are near each other and are a little too small, the quality and sound of the speakers is low and there are only a few apps and games for the e72 which kind off turns me off. But anyways, it's a great phone altogether!
You should not having such problems if you do hard reset your e72 after installing the new firmware..
Deepak, 26 Mar 2010and use skype and fring for VOIP calls. ( use on wi-fi or 3G) and video calls also work great.... moreThe capabilities of E72 are far inferior in mailing compared to E63.
And I have been using these symbians for quite some time (E61i and E63)
Even when you select the option for "download full message", it sometimes downloads only the text part, and sometimes nothing. You have to again waste time trying to retrieve the html part and attachment.
As far as my previous symbian experience with E63 goes, the html part is downloaded when the message option is selected for full download. It also downloads attachments.
Further, while using Nokia messaging in E63 it downloads the HTML and directly shows you HTML when you open the message, if you have selected "download full message".
Using the net is good on E72, but the mailing is sad compared to E63/E71.
And inspite of 2 visits to the Nokia Care, it still lags and hangs. Soon I will be uploading the videos of E72 lagging on YouTube.
bad phone, 26 Mar 2010i have this phone but i face the following problems 1- sometimes restart automatically 2- so... morei think u have done an mistake while updating or try updating again.even i faced similar problems such as automatic restarting but after u successfully updates to latest firmware everythin will be back on track
Nokia e 72 suck, 26 Mar 2010Do you use it for emailing? and use skype and fring for VOIP calls. ( use on wi-fi or 3G) and video calls also work great. In my opinion, ppl with defective sets or batteries or less knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of symbian are bad-mouthing it. Its a good phone for business use.
Nokia e 72 suck, 26 Mar 2010Do you use it for emailing? and it also reads out the mails - great inbuilt app while driving etc

Nokia e 72 suck, 26 Mar 2010Do you use it for emailing? Yes. i have setup three accts. works fine. Wi-fi, 3g. very slow in GPRS.
@cesar. Yes. been uploading pix to facebook regularly. use the facebook app for e72(came pre-installed on my set). or snaptu (free app)for twitter and FB
Anonymous, 26 Mar 2010Same experience, freezing or lagging; why does Nokia still not respond? using this fone from past 2 weeks.
absolutely a good choice. am very happy with the performance and none of the aforesaid problems are observed.
i have it for the past month and a half (Black e 72-1). tries all features. I dont find any lag ( installed 10 odd extra apps) use the home key-long press to shut down open apps which are using the 3g / gprs conn if it is slow. does the trick without rebooting. Dropped it twice - very sturdy not a scratch. Didn't face the `space bar` issue at all. used ovi maps while driving, wi-fi at home and office and 3g and gprs. Just works no hassles. some pre-loaded apps like autoprofiler have sopped working. thats about it. Camera is good in day. not so good at night. as for the rest - i liked it more than a blackberry ( price point versus features)
Hi, I'm thinking of getting this phone, would any of you recommend it?
Anonymous, 26 Mar 2010Same experience, freezing or lagging; why does Nokia still not respond? perhaps it's a known issue that's why it takes so long for them to response..
