nokia e72 is very nice and good looking phone.according to others opinion there are some problem at this phone but i think not that much i am using nokia e71 now.its really amazing phone.if i have to grade both of the phone than my grading is 4/5 for nokia e71. 4.15/5 for nokia e72.so now u think which one you are going to buy,,,,...
For those who are comparing the n97 mini and e72...My suggestion is go for the e72.
I've had the n97 mini for two months now n its such a pain...keeps getg restarted or hanged...Functionality is irritating...QWERTY pad is not so comfy like i read from other users...
My bro has the e72 and I've used it on several occasions...Its great..the email..the cam..everything...Gonna get my set this week!
MAX, 16 Feb 2010hi iwant to buy thismodel but they told me we have this model only made by china is it true? ... moreyah sure.i bought it.and i check and tried to find one that's not made in china but it was unavailable.now i found that it's not much different.i think it's the same quality if compare to Finland...,just believe me !!!
Anonymous, 16 Feb 2010Made in china are low quality copies.Mine is made in Finland.I just recieved my new e72 today and it is made in China and I live in New Jersey. I have no problems and I don't see any problems with this unit. I used the e71 for over one year (made in Finland) and I don't see any difference in quality.
I noiticed every time I press the left soft key I always see "Show open apps" as the first choice on the list... it's annoying because if I want to see open apps I just hold down the home key.
When a new SMS arrives it shows no preview of text, just the person who sent it.
This unit allows your SIM contacts to be used as the primary contact list but what good is it if I cannot use contact search to find my contact, which means I still need to copy SIM contacts to phone contacts.
The built in email does not seem as good as nokia messaging on the e71.
When I want to send a new SMS it gives me a choice of sending it to my friend's cell phone or his email address. Why would I want to send an SMS to an email address? I find myself pressing and clicking more buttons compared to the e71. Shouldn't this unit make things easier, not harder?
Of course, Nokia still fails to provide threaded SMS but "Free iSMS" is a great app, but the average person won't be able to install it.
It's only my first day so I will post more information as I go, but at this point in time it is too early for me to judge this phone.
Sorry, I am just pointing out the annoyances, and not the good things.
