Eddie, 04 Dec 2009Is this Dual sim?? Are there any Nokia phones with Dual Sim??dude..what a ques la..so far as i know nokia doesnt come up hp with dual sim card..dual sim card is china la bro..r u blind?
email client sucks to the core.....i dont think it may get better with a firmware upgrade...
if the email client dosent works better....its just a multimedia phone with inferior features.
after three 4 days of usage...the bst feature of e72 is the gps...and than web browing is good..could have been better with a bigger screeen.
gaming sucks...screen not optimised for fast moving graphics.
video playback is ok ..cool enough.
optical trackpad is very loosely built...i think its very delicate and it may get rigged with time.
qwerty keypad is excellent and the short cut keys are just awesome
battery life is the sexiest of all.
camera not at all disappointing. worth commending the camera.
and the os is faster...it occasionally hangs..but that has happened inly 4 times when i maxed it.
wat more to say...email client has me pissed off. come on guys share ur experiences with the email client.
Hi all. Finally I got my E72 today for Indian
I bought topaz brown and it is far better than black.
The comments of all true users are correct.
Sherrif rightly pointed out that there is light leak
below home key. The navy key is bit loose, but it
may not be a defect.
The backcover is just slightly loose from right side.
But I cannot wait for any correction as the phone is
just awesome and great. The above points of slight
defects do not make much difference.
The menu is fast. I have not used it for calls and web.
Philippine buyers: any feedback?
I will buy the E63 and wait for a year or more before buying the E72. This is a great phone, but worth the price of a Netbook. After a year of patience, the price would have gone down reasonably after all the frenzy.
Anonymous, 04 Dec 2009The e72 is possibly one of the biggest disappointments to come out of Nokia, in recent times..... moreyou say :it looks like : in your comment fully indicating you have never tried e72 and are just going off anything bad you hear..
Brown seems to be better than black in my opinion. Black would have been good only if it wasall black. The silver lines gives it an old look specially the keyboard. Brown though not very great, looks good from back panel and its refreshing and different.
Whats your say,
i See Shopping Dhs price 1500/= in U.A.E. City Dubai
E72 nokia Black ,, No warranty NOT 1year,,
(( i LOVE First 1st Brown perfect)) (( excellent second 2sdSliver)) (( Very good Black 3rd third))

Its ok that you love your phone, but E72 is a worthy phone. In my view, best choice for any office and productivity work, followed by BB for its looks, iphone for music-video and so on.

The box of Black e72 also has a brown one made on it, so do not get confused by it.

A.D., 03 Dec 2009Navin,
If you prefer waiting even more wait till the fist software update is rolled out... moreThanks dear...
I guess i would probably wait, but would i know that upgrade has come (firmware or s/w wise)? And after what usual time after launch can we expect the upgrades?
Also hows your BB 8520 exp, i too have seen the phone n feel its worth for the price .... am sure on email n IM front its good only, how about browzing, office docs managing, music and camera etc...u happy with it...i also would like to hows the built of 8520, read it feels bit loose comparing with other BB.
but what i dont like is BIS plans n nokia e72 where as plays a perfect all rounder...
can people pls give there input on IM usage of E72...problems pertaining to email client is getting more n more noticeable here as well as other forums too..
The e72 is possibly one of the biggest disappointments to come out of Nokia, in recent times... the e71 is better, and by miles, and at a much lesser cost, since it does the simple things, more efficiently... Nokia will have to quickly do a rethink, and release an upgrade, else, they will be caught out by rivals, with products that just about meet the e71's specs, or slightly improve upon it. Even the low-end BB's are better than this one. The e72 suffers from poor built quality, and sluggish performance, and is embarrassingly slow for something in its price range... Looks like a product released in a hurry, targeting first time users, not exposed to business phones, for whom this would be a quantum leap, from what they may have used earlier....
Great Phone, I think it's one of the best in the line. For a cool 20K INR. it's the best. Features like a visiting card reader and a text recognition tool are amazing. The feel is very very elegant and the intranet features are cool.
Easy to use, very very handy and very very fast.
I'd give it a full score , although making it a touch screen would be the next step forward.... but that's a little distant for the E series.
Overall, it's a must for any person on the go and anyone who's someone out there.
