Hey Brynn or anyone...I really want the E72 and go back and forth everyday. I have heard things that make me think I should go with the E71 or even the BB 9700 but I am in other countrys so I think BB not as good WiFi etc. Please tell me those that have it and have had or experienced E71.
1. I hear that the E72 build is not near the E71 is this compared to the E71. If I never held the E71 would I think the E72 was great?
this is my main concern....I love the look of the N71 especially in WHITE...the RED and all Black also looks BOSS.
2. I saw wheer someone said there is a light leak on the E72
i am a real stickler for details and anal about everything.
Anonymous, 24 Nov 2009@Brynn-I have been teacihing in Korea for 14 months now and the phones here are pretty advance... moreThanx very much for your reply,,so in general we are all on an even keel which is nice to know but also a bit disappointing as you think they are way ahead you think they have better battery lifes..I have heard of lithium nano batterys that can extend life by tenfold but in the laboratory still and the fuel cell never emerged ..Anyhow the e72 has done well with speedy proccessor yet good battery life thanx to feature pack 2..Thanks again i never expected a reply..
please advice me i want to change my e71 to e72 because e71 when i use internet its running slow and sometimes disconnnected. thanks
@Brynn-I have been teacihing in Korea for 14 months now and the phones here are pretty advanced especially compared to the USA offerings but the battery life on the phone I currently have is not so great and it's not even a high end phone. My 1st phone was decent but I have heard from many of my friends that battery life pretty much sucks all around which is odd because last year Samsung came up with a technology that extends cellphone battery life hours beyond anything on the market....not sure what has come of it.
i have the Nokia E63 since Feb of this year and now it seems like, Nokia E72 will be my next baby! hehe..
Nokia E 72 availaible in India in Pre launch...price 22,989/- Check the Nokia India website....! congrats..!
Is anyone on here from South Korea or Japan??I would like to know because of your super duper fones if your battery lifes are equivalent to europe fones ie about 1 days use under medium to heavy load,,ive noticed the sharp fones has massive screens but low batterys..A bit of an off topic question but just curious..
On topic the place where i looked for buying e72 has sold out now,,so they are selling like hot cakes OR are in limited supply..

Anonymous, 23 Nov 2009hi guys, any one can help me to insert dollar sign ($) using e72 ,, please"Hi guys, any one can help me to insert dollar sign ($) using e72 ,, please"
On E71 - you pushed the button at the bottom-right corner and got a menu of characters including "$"
E72 is now available in India. The phone has been priced at Rs. 22,989 and is also available on pre-order here.
A week after its international launch, Nokia has finally bought the much awaited E72 to India. The high-end ESeries device is considered the successor to the very famous E71, that has a very decent fan following.
The E72 is visually similar to the E71 and boasts of better features as compared with its predecessor. While the resemblance between the two is striking, there have been a lot of changes under the hood. The processor, for example, is a much faster one and will definitely make the E72 way faster than its older cousin. Then, there is the new version if Symbian (Version 9.3, FP2) found doing duty on the phone. The phone also comes pre-installed with Nokia Messaging and a host of Office Productivity Suites.
Also, unlike the E71, this one can be a pretty formidable multimedia phone - thanks to the 5 megapixel camera (with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics). You can even record videos at VGA resolution. Lastly, a much needed 3.5mm jack too finds its way in. This was a much sought after feature on the E71 - that unfortunately, was not fixable by a mere update. In short, the E72 is almost everything that the E71 fell short of.
