Does the buttons still have a pushy click and work like normal trackpads (like the 6220 Classic?) How about the center sensor... does it work like... an optical mouse upside down or something? Just hover your finger above it?
I just cancelled my E55 order. After a lot of time deciding between the E55 and E52, I just decided to spend a bit more and get the E72 instead... full qwerty and 5mpx all the way!

it would be much better if they added three things:
1- FM transmitter
2- UPnP technology
3- video recording @30fps

I am asking because i have one prototype E72 with SW version 021.004.1 am it kinda freezes a lot when radio is on. Hope i will find an updated version soon, even thought i dont know where to look :) LOL
looks like this one is going to rock as well...E71 is super...way to go..eagerly waiting for the launch...
Unfortunately this one no have IR, previous E series have IR and that make E series multifunction, can use as a tools for modding electronic device. Seems have to keep some old phones.

I've had the E72 for couple of days for the "test drive". Impecable device, no remarks. The screen size is adequate for the phone dimension. Display quality is very good. Camera quality, the best up to date in any business phone. Sound quality is good, bigger speaker than the E71. No obsolete IR port. Design is perfect. It will look sharp on anyone. Battery life is awesome.Nice updated applications. Previously owned an E71 and loved it, but sadly now I must replace it for an E72. And for those who want dual sim, no problem, buy two of these magnificent machines!!!
it will not be a great phone beacause it will have the buttons like e62 and that phone is not very atractive like e71, i have a e71 and i like it very much this e72 i don't like it
Am very happy that the e72 is coming out.Just to know when that will be.Nokia keep the good work on.
I got the phone 2 days back and I have to say this is a MASTERPIECE!
I just wish the screen size was a bit more. But apart from that everything is brilliant. The same feel as my old E71. The optical trackpad is BRILLIANT! It's so easy to scroll through web sites, etc.
I'm sad that I've to send it back in 2 weeks...
But I'm surely buying this when it comes out.
The E71 was already a great phone. The only thing I did not like about the E71 was poor screen resolution for the screen size. I always wished that my E71 screen was as crisp as my E51 screen. Looks like that particular thing is not going to be improved on the E72. Too bad indeed, because the E72 is comming out with everything else as the best phone in the world for those who do not like touch screen and like maximum portability with rich (I would say very, very rich functionality). I almost forgot a beautiful design that has not been matChed yet neither by Nokia nor by any other brand yet. Just imagine the processor speed improved, accelerator, batery life, operating system and so on. This is the best ballanced phone ever,..., but better screen resolution would make it perfect to me.
