Bought this new on ebay a couple years ago. Love it! It's solid, the keyboard is the best I've ever used. Remember now it's May 2013 and SymbiOS 9.3 is dead, so the learning curve is steep, and thus rewarding. Remember to get Opera Mini or Mobile to supplement the phone's browser. You will find strengths and weaknesses in each browser, but both are necessary to get the best web experience out of this phone.
Power and features on the cheap. Good call quality.
Wifi hotspot with JoikuSPOT.
Perhaps the best mobile keyboard ever.
(Great before work or an interview!)
No advanced flash content.
(Matters less to me than a good keyboard.)
If you want Threaded SMS, you have to buy a little app that costs like $1.99.
I wanted a small, robust phone with a great keyboard and a nice camera (two, actually). This phone just works. It's 'friend-proof' (SymbiOS 9.3), too so no one wants to use it. The small screen contributes to a slim form factor and incredible battery life. GPS navigation and maps are also available but have a deleterious effect on battery life.
Really, I've never seen so much in such a small package.
I have this phone. It's a wonderful equisite smartphone, has every useful feature you will every need and to top it off it has the best mobile camera I have ever seen.
This phone is so elegant, stylish, good looking, and very pleasing to the eyes.
plz i want 2 know if nokia e73 can be adjusted upon (2g) only instead of the 3g cause I lost nearly all my credit every time I surf the internet ?? anyone help ..thanxx
Guys this nokia is a phone for me and I need it where can I get it cheap cos I dont have enough money to buy it, not this other phone.
I like this phone I think it is better than the bolds I use to use. The only draw back is email but I do not have a business so it is ok. I use spotify to stream music because there is no pandora support. This phone has the best battery life I have ever seen on a smartphone. I can go about four days if I want to before a charge. I even bought a e63 as a backup if this phone breaks or gets stolen. Will hold for a while until the tmobile refarm network comes to my area, or I get a lumia 810.
Can anybody tell me if the E73 is louder than the E72 when it comes on to ringing, having a speakerphone/loudspeaker call conversation and playing music?
I recently purchased this phone from E-Bay and I will get it into my hands fairly soon. I eagerly anticipate holding it in my hands.
To me this is a combination of three of the most famous E-Series smartphones...the E51, E71 and E72. I previously owned an E51 and I liked the placement of the shortcut keys (contacts, e-mail, calendar and home) they were so easy to reach without pressing a key you didn't intend to press. Sadly the layout of these shortcut keys were changed in the E71 accessing them without pressing the wrong key was difficult...but I still love the E71 to pieces (especially the metallic body).
I felt the need for a change from the E71 and liked the feature set of the E72 (flashlight/torch light feature, better camera among other things) but didn't like the layout of the shortcut keys of the E72. I used an E72 more than once and the shortcut keys felt awkward. Also in using the E72, I missed the mega metallic body of the E71...especially the lower metallic-like part below the keyboard. The E72 only has a thin strip of metal below the keyboard.
Then Nokia gave birth to the E73 which has incorporated the E51, E71 and E72 into one device. Three in one combo. Nokia gave me almost everything from all the said E-Series that I like...with the only exception of the loudspeaker NOT being on the top of the phone like the E71...but I can live with that. Excellent job Nokia. If only Nokia could make more excellent phones like this then maybe they would have still been the number one manufacturer. I still love you Nokia.
