Hey im from Bangladesh and my dad just bought it for me for 2000 dirham ($570)from Abu Dhabi. Yesterday the phone was launched in Bangladesh for 30800 taka which comes only $440. Its much cheaper compare to other countries and i really wonder how. Anyways the phone seems great in all aspect. But the only problem im having with this phone is the sim card slot. Im finding it very difficult taking out the sim card from the phone. Any solution would be really helpful. thx
Anonymous, 27 Apr 2009I find the same issue in my N95 American. I cannot do Voip over 3G with the built-in SIP clien... moreI found this in the Nokia Support Discussions:-
This is the signed SIS file for the SIP VoIP 3.0 Settings application. This application enables users to configure VoIP settings on S60 devices supporting Nokia S60 VoIP Release 3.0, such as the Nokia N79 and Nokia N85 multimedia computers.
After installing on E75, there's a advanced VOIP settings option in net settings that allows u to set up a new voip service. One of the members said it works with hitches.
Hey you marketing guy in Nokia, shame on you for limiting the Internet Call function, thus smearing the reputation of the sacred E-Series phones. Thumbs up to your Engineers for a great phone.
optimiser_ss, 27 Apr 2009Anybody checked out my complaint regarding Internet Calling in E75.
Internet Call is synonimo... moreI find the same issue in my N95 American. I cannot do Voip over 3G with the built-in SIP client.
Have to use FRING or other such softwares.
Anonymous, 27 Apr 2009So E75 can do editing--excel, word, powerpoint?yes! o so easily!
CoCo, 27 Apr 2009Really? You prefer this phone over the 5800? I'm contemplating of whether or not I should get ... moreWell if you can buy nokia n97 then that's the sweetest deal!
but for me it was different, I needed to have adocument editor in my set which n97 lacks and in our coutry it isn't possible to buy it online! So i needed it prebundled in symbian with agreat keyboard and it had to have every other thing like ngage, vga video,3.5mm jack, gret build quality and all the best software support! And it had to be in budget! I have all these in e75! And n97 is too costly for me who is still a student! And there are also safety issues like mugging and durability!
well i can summarize it this way that it's a budget n97 without the touch screen!
the set is fast, ngage plays well, music quality is astoundingly good for an E series, the keyboard is the best among cellphones, as reviewed by gsmarena and we know about the build quality and software support excellence that e series provides! So the set is perfect for me!
Anybody checked out my complaint regarding Internet Calling in E75.
Internet Call is synonimous with almost all Nokia E-Series phones. Nokia has put limits in the E75 probably to appease the Telecom Operators. I can only use Gizmo in E75 which has expensive minutes compared to other VOIP providers. I have multiple VOIP providers configured in my E51 & N82 phones. Depending on call clarity & price, I use Freecall.com to call USA for free (with 10 Euro credit), Globe7 to call Gulf countries, Nymgo to call India.
Why isn't it allowed in the E75.
369mhz processor ... e55 600mhz is better, it is heavier then the e55, bigger and more expensive. what's the catch
zaheedAwesome phone!, 26 Apr 2009awesome phone! i am the first buyer of this phone in Bangladesh! sold my 5800! e75 is way bet... moreReally? You prefer this phone over the 5800? I'm contemplating of whether or not I should get the 5800... or maybe wait for one of the summer N97, HTC Magic, or HTC Touch Pro 2 phones.
eleena, 27 Apr 2009the phone looks awesome! however i need suggestions n opinions between e75 and n97. ... moreWell, I think one of the biggest differences is that E75 is not touch screen and has keys on the outside for easy dialing. N97 is full screen, touch screen. I think N97 is supposed to be a lot more expensive too, so it really depends on your preferences and your budget =/.
E75 don't have blackberry connect but it offer something better: you can get your yahoo mail, gmail mail push to your phone, no email subscription fee, only need to pay for data. no need for the expensive blackberry subscription. and for company mail, you can access your Microsoft email on this E75, samething no monthly email subscription fee
the phone looks awesome!
however i need suggestions n opinions between
e75 and n97.
help me choose :D

awesome phone! i am the first buyer of this phone in Bangladesh!
sold my 5800! e75 is way better and strangely the music quality is louder and fuller than 5800!
Guys i bought nokia E71 in september and so far is great so i dont see a reason to change it to for ex E75 because E71 has everything what u need and is cheaper than E75.but E75 looks very nice.
I used the E75 for 3 days and I found it slow and sometimes the software crashes. One of the crash couldn't be fixed until I formatted it (reset).
