Will this phone be able to synchronize itself completely. i.e. copy entire phone book/calender, from my 9300 like the other communicators are able to do??
even if there's a lot of person accessing the same DSL connection, the speed will still be the same... thats why its called DSL.... DEDICATED Subscriber Line...
you're talking about cable connection where in if there's a lot of users connected, you wont get the speed you were told.
but i agree with you on the part where you said not all people actually use all the features of the expensive phone they buy.
i find it irritating too when i heard someone in the mall who owns N95 and she goes like "oh really? this phone can do that? oh really, this phone is capable of this one... blah blah blah"... i mean why the hell did she purchase it if she doesnt even know what her phone is capable of...
im assuming she just use text, call, and MP3.
because i even heard her said that she doesnt know it can go to the internet....
...they're just after the social status that their phone can project in the public...
on my end, i buy phones like those that are jam packed with features even if its expensive... but i use all the features and even install additional software to maximize the phone... so at least im using all the worth i paid for it and i really need those features... or else i wont buy the phone even if i have the money.
I got 2 E90s and both had speaker problems... when you make a call te speaker explodes before it rings and when it rings it rings funny...
Anyone facing the same problem?
Is it hard or software?
I do believe that E90 is only for serious users who wants the most out of their phone (more RAM, more battery life, bigger screen, more durable, built quality is better) compared to N95 which is more of a fashion statement who want to flaunt their phone to their friends (no offense to other N95 users) which I see here in the Philippines. Still, some of the buyers here only use their N95 for voice and text only, some games and mp3 (I know this, coz three of friends have N95) but doesn't know what is the significance of HSDPA and having a GPS on their phone. Technically speaking, do you honestly believe that you can fully utilize the HSDPA of your network running??? Be realistic my friends, HSDPA is similar to a DSL connection that even though you have subscribed for a 1MBPS speed, though 5 persons are accessing the same DSL connection, you cannot have a 1MBPS throughput on your side..... Just a word of thought....
sap, I don't have that problem with my e90. if i type in a letter for contact search, the only names that will show are the names containing that letter in the beginning of the first or last name.. for instance if i search for dave and press "d", the name dave will appear along with james doolittle, david jones, mike davidson,,etc... i haven't experienced your problem. what's your software edition?
dont buy it guys in india 500 piece hve gn for repairing proble in mic and inner display ,,, it sucks waste of time and money nokiashame onyou guys
how does the GPS work in the E90 as its much simpler in the N95, every time i select navigation or search sites its says satellite network not availabe.
Can some one help on this issue......
I am using E90 for past couple of months, here in Singapore. I actually traded off my N95, because it had some serious problems on bluetooth connectivity - specially while listening to songs. However E90 is good. I have tried almost every software and it works flawlessly well. Mechanical construction of hinge is also excellent, no problems with that. However, i have couple of observations - one is that when you go to contacts, and type a letter - say "C", then in most other phones all contacts STARTING with "C" appear - in the case of E90, all contacts having "C" somewhere in the entire spelling appear !!! On typing further letters (after the first letter), the search gets refined. Is this correct / normal for E90? Any software upgrade required ? I did not get satisfactory answer from Nokia service guys here.
Secondly the music manager is N95 was much better. It is quite a terrible job in E90 to sort music files (specially if you have many files, like I have more than 400)into corresponding play lists. Is there a simpler way to manage these files?
Speaking about picture and VDO quality, results are very good, certainly considering this is a business phone and not meant for fun.
Another question - actually one can call this part of WISH LIST - Could (or CAN) Nokia make the internal screen as TOUCH SCREEN as well ?
In any case, an excellent product from Nokia !!!
Hey guys, here goes a short comparison between E90 and N95, since I use both simultaneously.
N95 Main Strengths as compared to E90: Great Camera, 3.5mm audio jack and TV Out.
N95 Weakness: Crap Battery Life, Low Ram limits multitasking seriously, cheap plasticky finish (it's ridicuolous to pay the price Nokia charges us, when they use so much plastic on the phone)
E90 Strengths: 80MB FREE RAM - multitask as much as you want, GREAT BATTERY LIFE (this is the most important feature for me), great build quality. Great Keyboard and inner screen make for a reasonable browsing experience. The 3,2 Megapixel camera is sufficient for me.
E 90 CONS: it's Big and Heavy, has 2.5 mm audio and NO TV OUT. The camera button is horrible and drives you up the wall
Which one do I use as my main phone - hands down E90, especially because of battery life. Hope this was useful.
i waited for e90 for so long and when e90 arrived here in the philippines i bought it right away i got it for 40,000 pesos... for 1 week i tried it and i am very disappointed...my n95 is much better than the e90...so i sold it to my friend...and now im much very satisfied with my n95 and i think this is the greatest nokia phone i've ever had...
wawwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, amazing phone, but the availibility of stock is more amazing,we have to travel to FINLAND TO BUY IT,,,,,,,,,,,

Mine also the same problem... I think is the quality of the casing.. I was very upset that the back cover was loose and got some noise when press on it... Nokia please look into it.. and the noise while making calls.. Please provide latest firmware that can fix the problem.
Why there are scammers anywhere, shamefull!? They want you to buy phone through mail and settle it through paypal - this is a SCAM. Better, ask for the package first (COD) - cash on delivery before paying anything else.
e90 is too good set ,but wishing fax in it :(
business phone without fax.
this phone is absolutely the best so far. no lag time... very fast in all aspects... and almost complete... but i just found out that it cant send nor receive fax. grrrr.
