I have purchase a mobile phone (Model E90) from Nokia Priority Dealer on 12th July, 2007. I purchase it to use spreadsheet calculations. But this software is not like other communicator phones. I’m using communicator since 1996. In this software after entering text/digit I have to click ‘enter’. It dose not move with cursor. In excel, after entering text/digit it moves with the ‘Tab’ button or ‘right/left/top/bottom’ button, and the text/digit display in the cell. But in this phone it dose not move with ‘left/right/top/bottom’ button. I have to click the centre button. The operating is better in 9300i than E90.
Can I use the software of 9300i in E90?
What is the solution?
Can I use MS office Application software for Nokia E90?
Where can I get this?
not so good. 9500 n 9300 is mush better fot bussiness n office files
guyz u can use FAX on the E90... go to Menu, Office, QuickOffice, then go to Quick manager. click on Quick Office Products and u can download QuickFax, but its not for free. this lets u Fax Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Files.
By the way this is the best communicator made by Nokia. reliable, heavy duty, excellent design, great battery life, excellent wide screen, ect...
E90 is a perfect smart phone but Why just it does'nt have Fax reciver and sender like 9500 i think this is the only problem init until now.

traveller, I agree with you that the two o.s are different and shouldn't be compared. But the two share somewhat of the same customer base so comparisons will continue. as far as your axim is concerned, it may have been the unit and not the windows os. Like I stated earlier, I own an Asus p525and have never had any freezes or crashes as compared to my Htc Tytn. I've had the asus for about 11months now. In regards to th e90, i'm having issues with a loose battery cover, and the rubber stoppers on the bottom of the e90 don't sit level on a flat surface. just a heads up for prospective buyers.
of course both have issues. the problem is people compare to WM which is wrong. they are on different level of usability and functionality. someone still on therapy here came out with his own version of i don't know what!
a communicator must not exceed 160 grams? what's this nonsense? have you really used a communicator? Nokia made communicators for people who take their office "outside" and not your likes. stay with whatever phone you use and buy more of WM devices. you need to continue your therapy.
am not really a huge FAN of S60 if you can go through my posts here. i wished nokia stayed w/ S80. what do you use your WM for? it doesn't freeze? well you don't use your WM often and i bet you haven't really had the full time using it properly.
I own an asus p525, and I just purchased the e90 yesterda. As far as being stable, both windows mbile and symbian platforms have issues. I was lucky to finally find a windows mobile that was stable in the asus. I have yet to experience any problems with the e90. Then agian it's only been a day. Is it me, or is the text to speech feature hard to understand??
this fone is a monster
a comunnicator must not exceeds from 160 grams
210+ weight is ......................
N95 is better
It's true smartphone!
But very and very expensive.
Everyone, gife me for free my dream phone, nokia e90 its everythinks.
I'd like to ask .. is it support MS-office like the old communicatator or not ?
i ditched my Dell Axim 51v after 2 weeks last year. you can't just accomplish anything with that OS. WM is made for those who are in therapy. WM freezes on you at least once a day! obviously you don't know how to use Symbian and you judge it's speed by the opening of apps!Symbian will beat any WM in battery life by a factor of 2.
Yes wm does use more 'power' but the os does not freeze, that is just complete nonsense or an experience an novice would encounter.Did you install tweaks2k.net,pocket mechanic?did you update the ROM?-no I don't think so!Symbian is fine for little smartphones but series 60 on a device like this?give me a break. You did know that most of the third party applications are developed by kids...of coarse you must do...if your using that lame os LOL.Nokia must rub their hands with glee when they see the likes of you.
WEll i m from Pakistan and here it costs 100000 rupees (1750 US DOLLARS)
(55 rupee= 1 dollar for share marker)
E90 is already available in USA, Dell is official distributor. It costs 880 or 890 dollars, NOT 1750$.
ya i got my phone from mobilecityonline.com with chinese characters on it, and i had to return it and get my money back, after like 3 hours of convincing them, now i went to ctinyc com and i bought it for maybe 400 dollars cheaper, and they have the american version so no problem so far,
they sellit for like 950 now, i bought it for 1299.. sad!
i think the e90 is overrATED and abit to expensive but i sure i would love one fo free...which i one ...but the battery life is abit short
