Mr Google , 16 Feb 2025Mine upgraded to Android 14 but I can't charge it when it's off, when put in a charg... moreRecording calls might be forbidden in your country, that is why you can't do it with third oary apps. As for charging when phone off, it is actually charging when off, but of course it needs to boot some dlls to control the charging flow, that is why it turns on to charging mode. But the system is not on. Again, this happens with all phones, not only this one.

And since I updated it to Android 14 I can't record phone calls with default phone app and even third party apps failed!!

were you able to get it to work after the last update?i did manage to make it work better, by installing another launcher since something goes horribly wrong with QuickStep default launcher
quickstep is not removable though and you will need to periodically delete its data to fix lag issues
on top of that this phone GPS is completely useless, i've read its a problem with the antenna, no idea how to fix it

Absolute piece of garbage!!! I cant remember if there was even a day without it freezing for couple of minutes even after it wasn't being used for some time. Its possibly the slowest phone i ever owned even compared to models from 10 years ago or longer

Avoid this phone is garbage. Slow, bugs, glitches good pictures but sound and pictures record out of sync. The Nokia 5.4 was great but the G22 dreadful. Don't waste you money on this.

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2024Nokia is no longer the same quality company as in the 90's and early 2000's. It was... moreno chinese company, motorola is bought by chinese company and nokia is independant. They sold mobile branch to microsoft, microsoft killed it off. Now Nokia licencing their brand to HMD, and that is a FINNISH company. The only chinese about it all is phones are made in china, so are iphones, motorola's, many samsungs, etc. etc. etc. etc.

It was... moreNokia phones are produced by HMD https://www.hmd.com/en_int not by a Chinese company, who has the rights of using the Nokia brand name. With the current Nokia phones you get what you pay for. Nowadays a mobile phone is a commodity, so what do you expect?

It was bought by some Chinese company and they are just using Nokia's good name. They a couple of good phones but most are entry level quality. imo
