I never write reviews, but i figure I should only because within the first 8 days of my upgrade, I was already going to my 3rd phone. This phone is a defect. Well actually all of them were. Now I don't know much about phones and all that internal crap, but I know a defected phone when I see one. The first few days were okay. I loved the phone! I went from an apple (cust. Of 5 years) to a windows, and I must say, I love it more than the apple and would choose it over the android any day. Now there are not a lot of apps in the windows store, so you have to find alternates. Besides that point, after a few days of playing with the phone, and playing games or even just doing a little research on the internet, the phone would flash, or start acting retarded. I was afraid it was the blue screen of death! Eek!! Well anyways, it would freeze, flash, or do whatever and be unresponsive, then reboot itself and when it turns back on, the battery is like at 5% when before the rebooting it was 90%. It did that to me twice. I took the phone back, and switched out for another one. That same night I discovered the speakerphone was broken. The very next day I took it in for att to adjust or do whatever they need to fix the phone and they also discovered it was broken. I am onto my third phone, and its doing the same thing as the first. It has overheating issues. The camera is a plus. I love it by all means, but I would rather keep with my DSLR if the phone is going to give me so much trouble. The settings are nothing comparable to the DSLR. Sometimes I'd wish that my DSLR was in hand for the pictures I wanted to take. Today exactly is my 14 day grace period to return the phone, and I did. I am waiting for my iPhone 5s to come in the mail. I wanted to get out of the iPhone bubble, but apparently everytime I do, I always find a reason to go back.
Rakesh9, 23 Sep 2013I love this phone very much but some drawbacks of this phone makes me hesitated in buying it!F... moredude..get your concepts clear. windows doesn't need heavy processors to work smoothly unlike Android which lags even on quad-core. And do you really think your eyes are sharp enough to differentiate between 332ppi and 400ppi??
Its A Good Device With Great Specifications And Can Suite All That I Might Need On A Mobile-Phone. Then Its Time To Try Out Nokia Lumia! From Blckberry World!.
Seeing the comparison tool (especially the ISO charts), 808's shots are way cleaner, especially on reds and yellows, and also on the Nyquist thresholds. Just checkout the samples and see how much more detail the 808 retains. Also, checkout the color poster with the fruits basket. Check the cut strawberry and see how much more detail the 808 retains. Also on the hair of the girl. It seems the sharper image on the Lumia is done via software and details are lost as a result. Without a doubt, 808 still retains the title KING when it comes to camera.
Guys good news for Indians nokia lumia 1020 launch on 26 sep....iam soo xcited...gonna get yellow color....
m not a phone fan and it tuk me sum tym to upgrade.i must say im enjoying ma phone ryt now..hi 5 nokia..its everything I want in a phone
lol. all these peeps need to wise up with there multiple core. truth be told, windows does not need the same as android to run smoother. end off
now put your dummies back in and stop the endless crying
So ur eyes are so sharp that u can discern a 1080p display from a 720p display at such dense ppi. 332ppi is MORE than enough.Anything beyond that is unnecessary hog on battery and system hardware.
i am hesitating to buy this phone because the camera is really good but the other features failed
I love this phone very much but some drawbacks of this phone makes me hesitated in buying it!First its processor, why it uses the dual-core processor instead of quadcore processor?it degenerates its quality!secondly, its ppi pixel density, why it has no full hd display it has only ~332 pixels and finally it does not have a micro sd slot!
